The Pelican Pad was quiet, clean and small, just perfect for two people. It’s close to shopping, beaches. We come to Florida often from MN and this place was by far the best.

The hosts were very nice. The location was good for us as well. Just a short drive to Clearwater Beach. We were also were given a 6 pack of beer and a bottle of wine which were very appreciated! Thanks.

The place was super cute. We loved the hottub with the rainbow lights outside. The bed could have been a little better. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay. We were helping a buddy move to the area, and it was a nice little place to relax

Clean, Cute and Cozy

Perfect location to everything around, Indian Shores, St Pete, Clearwater, Tampa. In a nice quiet neighborhood. The Pelican Pad was perfect for 2 people who venture out all day and come home to a nice hot tub and comfy bed! It has everything you need. We loved the outside space and the privacy it offered; nice to sit outside with your morning coffee or a happy hour drink. We would definitely stay there again!

I have a couple of recommendations- the common wall between Octopus and pelican is see through. Recommend making it more private for both sides. Bed is for a small person only. If my boyfriend would of come with me he would have to sleep on the floor. He is over 6’ Plus u can hear the conversations of people in octopus. otherwise I loved the jacuzzi and the shower. Thanks!

HORRIBLE

A day before our trip, my 89 yr old mother-in-law was hospitalized in the ICU on a vent with Covid. My husband reached out to the owner to delay our trip. Once things calmed down, I contacted property management to reschedule. I was told that our trip had never been cancelled. Essentially, they were keeping our entire payment and making no concessions. This is unacceptable.

Cozy Nest

This lovely, well appointed studio apartment is in a very nice neighborhood. It is actually one of the neighborhood residences converted into three separate various sized vacation units. I came to Florida to literally say “GoodBye” to my Mom who is in hospice. It was an emotional visit and the lovely private patio and hot tub were the perfect escape at the end of each day for me.

IT'S ALL YOU NEED

Nothing was overlooked by this Host. Amazing touches throughout the studio. Very cold fridge & wonderfully warm hot tub. If you are looking to hop on the Pinellas trail for a bike ride or walk, it's literally in the backyard. We will be returning. Thank you Stephen for the Beer, Water & Juice that was in the fridge.

It was a great stay. Loved the hot tub. The check in process could be a little clearer. The door was just unlocked with lights on when we got there. At first I wondered if someone else was already there but a message from the management assured me everything was fine.

Great little Pelican Pad!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights to unwind after 5 days in Clearwater. The hot tub was amazing and we definitely spent some time in there. We loved the privacy in the back. The unit was clean and had everything you need. We utilized the bikes for a day, went all the way to St. Pete's. We would recommend for anyone staying!

Honeymoon Night

Our experience with this property was great! I stayed here the night before my wedding and then brought my new bride the next night! Everything that could have possibly been provided for us was, from shampoo and conditioner to board games and bug spray! There were even makeup wipes for my wife! Great hosts, great place! I highly recommend!

When we pulled up, we were immediately greeted by Steve, which quickly put our minds at ease. He took us to show us where we would be staying and where we could find everything we would need. He has thought of everything! He asked at the end of our stay, if there was anything he could do to make the space better, and during your stay, he is just one message away. So friendly and helpful!

Hi, we’re Steve and Mary — originally from the Carolinas and married in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. After spending several years living in Virginia, we came to visit Mary’s mom here in sunny Florida and quickly realized this was where we wanted to call home.

In 2019, we opened our very first short-term rental studio and instantly fell in love with hosting. What started as a single cozy space has now grown into a collection of five charming studios and cottages, each designed to offer guests a clean, comfortable, and memorable stay.

With over 10 years of professional cleaning experience, we take great pride in maintaining immaculate spaces and adding thoughtful touches that make each stay special. Our goal is simple — to create welcoming, well-cared-for homes where guests can relax, explore, and enjoy the best of Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Why they chose this property

Mary and I purchased this home because we fell in love with the home and property. The neighborhood is so welcoming. Being so close to Clearwater and Dunedin to the north, and you go south and you are within 20 min of St Pete. You are only 20 minutes, depending on traffic, to Tampa. the Pinellas trail runs right behind the property. Its 55 ft above sea level. You don't need to worry about flooding. Its such a safe neighborhood. Our neighbor Janet has live in her house since 1976. She can not ever remember a break in. Its pretty perfect!
