Beautiful, artsy 2 BR/1 BA, w/tons of character and charm. Vermont Avenue. Ideal location in West Asheville. 1.5 blocks from restaurants, bars, park, coffee shops, food market, etc. 5-8 min drive to downtown! Covered front porch, sunny back deck, fenced in yard, gas stove, kid friendly. *No parties please

Our home is at the heart of West Asheville, which has all the charm and quirkiness of downtown but on a smaller, more walkable scale. There are coffee shops, local restaurants, bars, bakeries, a farmers market, grocery store, holistic health shop and a park all within a 2 minute walk. So whether you want to stay at home with your loved ones or go out and enjoy the nightlife, there is something for everyone!

***(House is split level with a basement apartment below- separate entrance- well soundproofed- completely private.)

Guest Access:
When you first walk up to the house, you enter onto the covered porch, which has a nice seating area. Then you enter into the living room, dining room and the kitchen, which has sliding glass doors that open up onto the large back deck. The two bedrooms are off to the right of the main rooms and the bathroom is through a short hallway. An open floor plan provides a nice airy feel.

Well appointed house that had everything you would need ( cooking spices, tea, coffee, extra linens , toilet paper ect…) Also very convenient location to walk to restaurants, coffee shop and brewery. Great that we also had access to lots of extra channels on TV. Will certainly keep listing for future stays.

We loved staying in this cute rental! It was a perfect size for our family of 4. This house had everything we needed & was clean and created a nice hangout space. We had multiple greetings from an incredibly sweet cat my teenagers called Mr. Kitty! This was a great location to check out local spots, a short 10-15 minutes to get into the city and easy to get to trail hikes right outside Asheville. Would love to rent again!

Absolutely loved this house & its location. Was able to walk to shops, cafes, & bars. A very sweet cat came around every night to say hi. Would definitely stay here again!!

The location of the home was perfect. Everything we did was 5-10 minutes away and the neighborhood was quiet. A perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of seeing the sites. We do not have any complaints. Everything was perfect. Definitely would stay again if ever in the area.

Great stay

Cozy home, stocked with everything we needed. It was the perfect distance from everything we wanted to do in Ashville. Home was stocked with coffee and tea which was really appreciated. Enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck.

This is a beautiful craftsman style home on a wonderful street in West Asheville! We could walk to various establishments, had a great kitchen, two very comfortable bedrooms and a nice bathroom! Kristin was a great host and communicated from start to finish, and had nice clear directions in the home. We could drive into Asheville very easily, and getting Ubers for the brewery and distillery tours was super easy to find with very little wait. The Asheville area has so much to offer, and we will absolutely consider this home for future visits to the area!

We loved everything about our stay! Easy check in/out, easy pay method, felt instantly relaxed as soon as you enter the home. West Asheville is so cool, but we could have just stayed in all weekend and it would still of been 5 stars! Will be back!

Great cozy property and location

The house is absolutely perfect with everything you need. Best rental I’ve stayed in. Full kitchen, plenty of linens, and great relaxation areas on the front porch or back deck. The location is excellent. Many restaurants, bars, coffee shops within a very walkable distance without the hustle and bustle of downtown, but also, downtown is a very short drive. We loved this adorable bungalow and can’t wait to come back!

The mold smell upon entry was disappointing and concerning. Deep cleaning needed around baseboards and nooks where there were cobwebs as well. All else very wonderful.

Charming arts and crafts bungalow.

The property is as described and so homey. The eclectic decor and period architecture are spot on. It looks great! The kitchen amenities are perfect for the occasional meal in and the spice selection really compliments those of us who cook. The front porch is a nice space to relax on after a day out in the Asheville area. We relaxed with a glass of wine and just enjoyed watching the neighborhood go by. It’s quiet and pleasant. The neighbor’s cat spoke to us almost daily. She is such a sweetheart. Our host Kristin was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Felt just like home

Great house for a reunion with old friends. The house was perfect in all ways. We loved the walk ability to Haywood street. The property is very centrally located. We enjoyed sitting in the deck in the evenings and for our morning coffee. Perfect for birdwatching. We even got acquainted with the friendly neighborhood cat!
