Cooks Getaway is a 3 bedroom Cooks Beach holiday home. This relaxed Cooks Beach base enjoys a peaceful position, with sunny outdoor living and ample room for the family!

This modern home includes 3 spacious bedrooms, additionally you will find an ensuite in the master bedroom and your own access to the patio. The open plan living and dining offers plenty of space for your group to enjoy days indoors and the fireplace on hand ensures you stay warm all year round. You’ll find the perfect spot to unwind on the sundeck with your favourite book or take advantage of the webber in the warmer months for easy outdoor meals.

The expansive backyard is ideal for family fun outdoors. For sun, sand and surf - your less than 10 minutes walk away from the estuary - a safe swimming spot for everyone. Experience the local cuisine, with many restaurants and cafes within 5 minutes drive including the popular Mercury Bay Estate Winery where you can also taste some local wines.

Spacious and modern

Well equipped with all we needed. Ideal for 2 couples with a bathroom each. Would also suit families. Nicely tucked away from neighbors- very private. Not too far from beach and shops.

Fish, Gin and Wine Getaway

Beautiful property, loads of space, quiet yet close to the sea. Master bedroom shower was cold/hot/cold hot, not pleasant. Everything else was lovely, don't forget to bring your own salt/pepper. Would stay again.

Absolutely Brilliant!

We had such an amazing stay! And the kids preferred this house to our own! We felt so comfortable and was within short driving distance to the many places like Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, and catching the ferry to Whitianga. We would love to stay again. A decent spot

Fairly dated beds, somewhat uncomfortable. In sink garbage disposal did not work, dirty dishes were left in the pantry. Not the best spot for young kids (toddler age) due to limited/no dining supplies, no high chair

Exceptionally Good

The house is at a very good condition, very clean. Property manager was very nice and easy to contact. Everything you need is all ready for you, definitely would come back next time :)

Property is really tidy

Property is really tidy. House is modern, clean and has absolutely everything you need. We had torrential rain for the first two nights and there was still plenty to do with a full games cupboard and enough room and space to chill out. When the weather was good we used the fantastic BBQ on the deck and the walk to the beach was only 10mins down a lovely path. The only gripe is that while this is 'dog friendly' it is not fully fenced, so dog owners should take provisions for this. Great place!

The property was beautiful and luxurious

The property was beautiful and luxurious. With the property being advertised as a pet friendly accommodation, I was disappointed to find it wasn't fully fenced. My dog ran into the bush chasing a bird and came out totally black (which doesn't suit when he's a golden lab). Luckily there was an outside shower. The TV controllers were hard to work out. Also while my boys were disappointed there was no WIFI, it did encourage more family time.
