Here for boatshow weekend. Very nice apartment, no complaints! Very spacious. A .8 mile walk to Marriott hotel was very doable. We would highly recommend this VRBO. Thank you for your hospitality!

The property was exactly as advertised and overall, very satisfactory. Little touches like snacks and water and basic coffee made the stay comfortable. Parking was easily found on the street, and since we were attending the boat show, being less than a mile to the downtown city docks was amazingly convenient. Location, location, location. As with any basement apartment with a main residence above you, you will hear noises and sounds throughout your stay.

We had a great time during our stay in Eastport! We had informed the hosts that we were in town for a 10 mile race and they made sure to stock the fridge with plenty of water and allowed us a late check out on Sunday so we could shower before getting on the road! We have already discussed booking another stay this fall!

Mario's basement guest apartment was awesome. Well appointed, quiet, and in a nice residential area. USNA gate 1 was very doable.....however on hot days or w/ older/less mobile guests likely would need an Uber (which we used maybe 60% of the time) ....but that worked very well. We would most definitely recommend!

Very nice place to stay. Close enough to walk to everything around the area. Place had everything you needed. Our only very minor thing was maybe a better cleaning of cob webs and couple spiders. Also realize it is in the “basement” of the house too so you will have those common things.

Very clean and neat. The rooms are comfortable and have all of the comforts of home. The host was responsive to messages and was very accommodating. Room temperature was comfortable. There was a little noise upstairs from general footsteps to low conversation and fans running, nothing more than expected from staying on a lower floor. The space was close to town, we parked and were able to walk everywhere. Nice stay!

We live in Annapolis because we fell in love with this small jewel of a town when our daughter was a Midshipman at the Naval Academy. There's nothing to dislike about this town. We bought a small weekend home, commuting 100 miles a weekend to enjoy this town and see our daughter. Then we decided to move there. After living there for a few years, we decided to build a new home around the corner; we love the Eastport neighborhood. Eight years later, we are still enjoying our life here in Annapolis and connected to the Naval Academy via the sponsorship program. Midshipmen enjoy our home away from their homes. Our three young adults and their own families visit often to refresh and capture more memories in our awesome city.

Why they chose this property

We had this home built to our specifications: open living, screened-in porch, and many bathrooms and bedrooms. We finished the basement in 2 15. Our guests say it feels like home!!

What makes this property unique

Our home is conveniently located within walking distance of the historic district without all the challenges of being smack in the middle of downtown Annapolis. There's plenty of street parking and a locally owned, top-rated restaurant and bar by the Washington Post. It's trendy and virtually a block away from our home.
