Best Beachfront Location On HHI.



It just does not get any better than this. Our townhouse is our full-time residence that we now rent out about 10 weeks in the summer. It is arguably the best maintained townhouse in the area as it was completely renovated about 10 years ago and Mike and Beth (the owners) continue to make improvements. Views of the water are amazing and the beach is virtually in our backyard. In the back we have a huge deck that serves as an outside living room and dining area. The sunsets from here are breathtaking! This townhouse is the larger floor plan (it is almost 400sq/ft larger than most of the others at Sound Villas).

Our townhome is located in the South Beach area of Sea Pines which has great beaches, miles of bike paths, and a world class tennis/pickle ball facility just a couple hundred yards away. And of course there is the South Beach Marina area which has boat docking facilities, numerous restaurants, bars, and usually a great singer/guitar player for most of the year.

This townhouse is large (3000 sq/ft) and has a maximum occupancy of 10. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and TV. A description of each level is as follows:

Level 1: Bedroom with 2 bunk beds (can sleep 4), a full bathroom, a large Den, washer and dryer room, and an outside patio;

Level 2: Living Room, Dining room, Kitchen, Bedroom (king bed), 2 full Bathrooms, and a large outside Deck;

Level 3: Master Bedroom and Bathroom (Queen Bed), 4th Bedroom and Bathroom (also a queen bed)

Feel free to email Mike with any questions. Because there is no property manager involved, total rental costs will likely be much lower. This property can only be rented with a Saturday check-in/Saturday check-out.

Family Reunion

This is an excellent resort for a family vacation as the accommodations are spacious and the oceanfront location offers relaxing and beautiful views. The host was accommodating and easy to reach, if necessity. I highly recommend this property.

What a wonderful home and a restful, fun, enjoyable experience for our families. The house was clean, welcoming, and ready for our arrival. The property was amazing! The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of linens were available. The view was spectacular and the short walk to the beach was very easy, even for the little ones. The pool was clean and never crowded. We hope to stay here again!

Lovely Villa

We stayed in this Villa several times in the 80's and 90's. Being back brought back happy memories. We liked the new decor. The location is ideal and the views of Calibougie are beautiful! Love the sunsets! Mike is a great host.

Amazing time!

Absolutely loved our place, perfect location, beautiful view, plenty of space, easy access to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked! Loved being able to go over to Salty Dog for ice cream after dinner, the bike rental was a simple walk away. We took our 9 and 17 year old daughters and they loved all the bike trails to ride on. It was a wonderful relaxing family vacation!

Great Experience

My family had a wonderful time at this beach front location in Hilton Head. We have 4 children (Age 10 through 18) who were never bored the entire stay. Walking distance to anything you'd want to do. Fishing on the beach was great. We caught something every day! The owners of this property are outstanding and extremely helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone. We plan on returning again as soon as possible!

We love this part of Sea Pines and this home has so much to offer. The views of Calibogue Sound / Daufuskie are second to none. Easy access to the beach and pool with a great ocean breeze on the spacious deck that also overlooks a lovely wooded area, home to friendly deer. Bathrooms are updated and clean. We loved the new furniture on the deck! TVs in all bedrooms including a new one in the bunk room. Less than a 5 minute walk to Salty Dog, H20 Water Sports and South Beach Racquet Club. Truly the perfect vacation! Owner is prompt to respond.

Nice place!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. The townhouse is very convenient to the sound-side beach and to the South Beach Marina, and the kids loved the community pool. We particularly enjoyed how the downstairs of the townhouse was a perfect area for our kids to have their own space while the adults could hang out on the upper floors. The only downside is that the townhouse enters on a split level, which made it a bit more challenging for a mobility-impaired member of our party than we had anticipated. But aside from that, the place was great and Mike was very responsive on all of our inquiries.

Wonderful Villa & location!

We so enjoyed everything about our vacation in Property ID 781851. The Soby's have have done a wonderful job in thinking of everything one might need in a vacation rental. The beachfront Villa is just steps from the beach and steps from the pool. Beds were comfortable, furniture was comfortable, lots of storage room to stow items required for a family to vacation, kitchen was well stocked, house was very pleasantly decorated. The only thing we didn't find that we needed was a large pot to cook low country boil, so we bought one at a local store. Communication with the owners was always prompt. We enjoyed the wildlife on the property---deer, squirrels, geckos--even a brilliant male cardinal one day. A perfect place for a family vacation! Just know that the traffic going into Hilton Head is bumper to bumper on check in day, and waits at good restaurants are from 1 to 2 hours. Next time, we will likely plan to just cook in each night and eat in comfort at the villa.

Annual family beach vacation

We had the most amazing experience at the Sobys property. From Julyn16-23. We have stayed in HH, Gulf Shores, Myrtle Beach and other beach areas and this was the best ever. Convenience to the pool and the ocean couldn’t have been better. The townhouse is well laid out on 3 levels which gave everybody “space” - the house has been maintained in excellent condition inside and out. Hats off to the Sobys - this place deserve its 5-star, 2 thumbs up rating. The Owen family

Proximity to the beach and water is unmatched on the island. The property was perfect for our group with 6 adults and 3 children. There are a lot of steps in the condo, but that helped with privacy for the upstairs’ rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach. Quiet. Close to the marina. Deer in the backyard. The owner was super responsive. One of the A/C units stopped working & he had it fixed in a matter of a few hours. Highly recommend.

Everything was easy to get set up and checked in. Clean and just the right size for the 8 of us. Quiet location. Was able to unplug and really relax and let the stress melt away. Beach access right there, restaurants and shops was a couple hundred yards away. Perfect vacation for this trip.

Fantastic Vacation

This was our first trip to Hilton Head Island with my in-laws and 2 young kids. The location of this property is amazing....right on the beach. The townhouse was very clean and comfortable. With the kids gone, it was time for us to downsize from the large house in Sea Pines to our Sound Villa. We are both retired now and when we are not on Hilton Head we are enjoying the mountains at our Breckenridge townhouse with our 2 children who now live and work in Denver. We love townhouse living!
