This freshly painted Gulf Side unit features a newly remodeled kitchen, with granite countertops, white appliances and new tile throughout common area. Both bedrooms have blue, berber carpeting, white wicker furniture with calming peaches and blues complete the clean and simple design of this unit. When you need a break from the sun relax on the new leather living room furniture, and enjoy the new 42 inch, flat panel LCD TV and BluRay player. The new dinette can accommodate seating for four, with additional seating at the breakfast bar. Both bedrooms feature flat panel LCD TV's and DVD player in the master, along with a King size bed in the master and two twins in the guest. Don't forget to enjoy the beautiful view of the turquoise water from your own private balcony!

It would be nice if there were some throw pillows on the couch and an area rug on the tile floor in the living area.

A week in siesta key

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent a week at this rental. Was a very good experience. When we showed up a few things broken but within a few hours (and no impact to us) the items were fixed. The unit is decorated very nicely and was just an elevator ride and not many steps to pool and from there onto beach. Walking distance to many restaurants/cafes and even a few shops. Sometimes the traffic busy when trying to drive somewhere but did mostly walking so not a real issue to us. The unit is close to the road and the larger bedroom closest to street does get some noise in evenings from across the street but not enough to affect my sleep.

I would recommend the condo to have some type of plastic containers for leftovers, more coffee cups and wine glasses, plastic bags and beach towels. When you fly you cannot pack these items.

Reviewer Comments: No problems with #401 except it sure could use a coffee table in front of the sofa.Also the sliding glass door could use some oiling, as it squeals everytine it is opened. also, thew shower handle pulls out really hard. We also had problems with using our keys in some of the outside doors. Other residensts complained about the same problem.

Location is excellent , even though is all the way back , you can still enjoy an ocean view from balcony. As for the House of the Sun in general, always a good place , well kept and safe . We will be back!

Not like it used to be

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had A group of mennonites/Amish above us and across the hall that arrived the end of our first week. Everything went down hill from there. They we disorderly, drunk and LOUD into early morning hours. We contacted Justin who told us to call police, which we did. Then Justin informed us if they continued to be disruptive he would have them removed from premises. This was on Saturday. We gave it a couple more nights and although the y go a bit better, by Tuesday we were fed up. We were told Justin was off and Allson at the desk, called to see if they would put us in a different room ( we later found out there was a a room available) he said no. He said he would refund us for the rest of the days, as we decided at that point to leave. These people that were making the noise had several complaints other than us and I believe they did some property damage as well. We have been guest at HOS several times over the years and NEVER experiences this. We won't be going back. The unit itself was nice, but a little dated. The Cresant Club across the street was pretty loud until bars close....but truthfully, it was the guests in 402 that ruined our stay and our 41 year Anniversary. Justin did not handle this appropriately. He even told us on a voicemail that t=he could not communicate with the folks in 402 because they were very intoxicated. I have record of that on my phone yet,He should had them removed like he said he would upon further complaints but he didn't follow through. Instead, we left. The rest of the staff was excellent , the room was very clean, the view was nice and we have no other complaints other than how Justin choose to handle this situation. Apparently his word means nothing.

It's not cheap to stay there and the beds and bedding was also uncomfortable. Other basic necessities were missing for example iron, blow dryer, bottle opener.
