House of the Sun sits on the beach. We are one block from the south Bridge (Stickney Point Bridge). Convenience is key to a vacation. You can walk to the grocery, to restaurants, shops, rentals, Ice cream, and so much more. Traffic can get congested on Siesta Key, but at this location, you can drive on and off the key with ease.

Unit 201,(2nd floor) Siesta Key. This unit does not have a direct view of the water but its great amenities will make your vacation here easy and stress-free.
•House of the Sun is located at 6518 Midnight Pass Road, Siesta Key, Florida 34242
*I also own Unit 504 at House of the Sun (top floor).
•Reserved parking space is located under the building and you car will be kept cool 24/7.
• Free WIFI
•Master Bedroom, King Size Bed, double mirrored closets, a mirrored vanity area, flat screen TV, private bath with walk in shower, updated, and is very spacious.
•Second bedroom, one FULL and one Twin Bed (2 beds total) and a flat screen TV. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combination, granite and sliding glass doors for the tub/shower.

•Fully equipped kitchen with a clothes washer and clothes dryer.
•Balcony with two lounge chairs, high-top table w/4 stools.
•Beach towels, beach lounge chairs provided on our beach by House of the Sun, and beach toys are all here.
•Heated Pool and our own private tennis courts overlook the gulf.
*Fitness room with TV and pool table.
•House of the Sun supplies lounge chairs both at the pool and on our section of the beach. Beach umbrellas are rentable daily or weekly by our beach attendant who will position the umbrellas into the sand for you.
• Gas Grills are supplied by House of the Sun.

Siesta Key also has a free Trolley called The Breeze and you can just wave it down in front of our building and take it anywhere on the key...for free!!

Sheets, towels and beach towels are provided. Paper products, dishwasher soaps, bar soaps, hand soaps, and cleaning products and filters for the Mr. Coffee 12-cup coffeemaker are all in the condo and it will feel very much like home.

The complex of House of the Sun provides lounge chairs on our section of the beach. Beach umbrellas can be rented and placed for you by our attendant.
Lounge by our heated pool, play some tennis, video games, ping-pong or relax and/or work in the rec room while the kids are in the pool.

Guests of House of the Sun enjoy bringing their evening cocktails and snacks to the FIFTH FLOOR DECK. The atmosphere is fun and casual and friendships have been made from this great fifth floor deck with beautiful panoramic views of our beach with its gorgeous white sand. Guests who stay at House of the Sun tend to come back year after year, and I hope that you will, too!

Views from the balcony face off to the southwest and there are no tall buildings next door. Although this condo does not offer a view of the gulf, we still have a very nice view facing off towards the southwest and we get a wonderful southern exposure on our balcony all day long.

Our HEATED POOL, and PRIVATE TENNIS COURTS overlook the gulf. During winter season the location cannot be beat, being one block from the Stickney Point Bridge (no long, slow lines on and off the key), and restaurants, bars, grocery, bike rental, drug store, ice cream, 7/Eleven, and much, much more, just across the street from House of the Sun.

Guests of House of the Sun enjoy bringing their evening cocktails and snacks to the FIFTH FLOOR DECK where the feeling is fun and friendly. Long lasting friendships that span the globe have been made from the fifth floor deck at sunset and guests come back year after year to enjoy this wonderful complex.

If you want a stress-free drive-free vacation, away from the public beach but still on the beautiful quartz crystal sands of Siesta Key Beach, this is one to consider.

Steps from the sugary sands of Siesta Key beach makes this condo attractive! Its location on the south end was ideal for our family (young adult children) - particularly the across the street access to a small grocery, coffee shop, bars, 7 Eleven, and a few restaurants. Be sure to try Toasted Mango for breakfast, Lenny'z Pizza, and especially Miguel's if you would like a quiet and European-feel dinner (at very reasonable prices). It's awesome to have the free shuttle to Siesta Key Village within a block. When you're not in the mood for the beach, the House of the Sun pool is a relaxing spot to sun. Donna and Dave are very gracious and responsive hosts. When we ran into a wrinkle with the TVs, they were quick to get on it - even though it occurred on Christmas Eve. This is a great pick for couples or families.

Excellent rental experience. This unit was clean, roomy, and stocked with anything you could need ! The owner has went above & beyond to have anything you could ask for. Donna was fantastic & offered great recommendations for the area. Check in was very simple. Unit was clean, they were doing maintenance on the property while we were there, new flooring in halls & paint— is going to be a great upgrade. You have covered reserved parking very close to your unit. Very convenient. We absolutely loved this area… you can walk to dinner, breakfast, coffee, ice cream, live music… it’s a great area! It was perfect for us…. The area can be noisy in the evenings, so if this is not your thing… it may not be right for you… but we did not mind it and once you are inside the unit it did not bother us at all! Lovely beach area, Chairs on the beach come with the unit… nice amenity. Beautiful beach and sand. Pool was clean, and we were always able to find chairs. Work out room is nice as well. Make sure to check out the rooftop sun decks as well Highly recommended rental. Hope to use it again.

Why they chose this property

House of the Sun is an extremely well run and maintained property. And we have all of the conveniences of shopping right across the street. We do not have to deal with the slow moving traffic on the key as we are just off of the south bridge (Stickney Point). Having a condo on the 2nd floor is a wonderful convenience, even with the 2 elevators, we can just walk up one flight of stairs to our condo. We love our place at House of the Sun!

What makes this property unique

Dave and I have been coming to Siesta Key for over 20 years and we love it. We decided to purchase our condo at House of the Sun for so many reasons. First, we really like the location. The complex is on the gulf and one block away from the Stickney Point Bridge. During the busier times of the year, it is wonderful to be able to leave our building, cross the bridge and get to our destination without long, slow lines. We enjoy the large, heated pool the overlooks the gulf, and we love the decks on the fourth and fifth floors. Every evening, guests of House of the Sun love to come up to the 4th and 5th floor decks for sunset. A horn is typically blown from our 5th floor deck just as the sun is disappearing into the Gulf. The deck provides a panoramic view of Siesta Key Beach, and we are one of the very view complexes that have these wonderful decks right on the beach. We love the convenience of being able to walk across the street for groceries at the Crescent Market, cocktails at the Sniki Tiki and dinner at Claytons. Typically, my car stays under the building in my covered parking space for most of my time at House of the Sun. Everything that I need is right across the street, from rentals, to shops, to a variety of eateries, liquor stores, ice cream, pizza, pharmacy, rentals, and the list goes on and on...I simply cannot say enough about the location and amenities here at House of the Sun!
