Great stay , condo was well maintained, clean and had anything you would need for a stay in St John. This condo is close to Cruz bay so you can walk down to all the shops and restaurants.
One of the easiest and cleanest stays! Comfy beds, great AC, great pool, screened in porch was great for night card games without bugs. Owner was easy to contact and quick to repspond. The hike up and down to town is a lot, but totally possible. Even our 3.5yo could do most of it. The parking is a learninf experience bur also doable.
We had a great stay at Mango Numba 5. The property owner, David, was super responsive leading up to the trip and proactively provided a lot of helpful info. Property location is great. Convenient to town. The unit has everything you’d need for your stay. We would rent here again.
We loved staying at this property. Davis was so helpful and accessible. The condo was stocked and clean. He had floaties and tons of towels and bags. We definitely recommend this property to rent!!
Dave was great from before we got to house and throughout. House was clean and all ameneties needed were there. It was easy to get to market (hill a bit steep) to all beaches and down into town of Cruz Bay. I would recommemd Daves unit to friends or families. We had a great time!
Very nice condo. Clean, well equipped, good location. Parking is challenging due to the very steep incline of the road. The owner is great at communicating and supplying information.

We were very impressed with the condition of the unit, everything was very clean and it was well provisioned. The view from the deck was fantastic and the infinity pool as well. A few minute drive from downtown, groceries, etc. David was easy to contact to answer questions. I would stay there again without question. Thank you
The condo itself was nice but the location was very difficult. The hill that the condo was something out of San Francisco and the cabs did not want to drop us off close. The community pool was not clean enough for us to swim in, looked as if it had not been skimmed in quite a while. The condo did not have washer/dryer so we had to use the same beach towels for several days and dry them as best as we could outside. The tvs were not working when we arrived but owner did get someone over to fix the day after we reported it. Overall the condo was newly renovated and nice and had a well stocked kitchen.

Hi Bonnie - thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are TERRIBLY disappointed you found your stay at Mango Terrace worthy of a 3-star experience. This is the lowest review we have EVER received and it really devastates our rating here on VRBO. I would like to address the concerns you mentioned:
1. The Hill - yes this is clearly described in our listing, in our follow up communications, and I always go over this directly with guests when they reach out to me as I requested in order to set the proper expectations. St John is made up of Hills and an adventurous terrain throughout the entire island and this is what makes unique and desirable for most who visit and provides for the gorgeous views & breezes.
2. Taxis - I have never heard of any not dropping off directly out front. Was this really multiple taxis or just your experience with one of them? In addition I provide the names of 2 taxi drivers that I know personally to you and I highly recommended. Did you not reach out to them?
3. The pool is cleaned 2x per week! Do you have any pictures you can please share with me? I also did not hear about this from you until now or it 100% would have been addressed same day! Why would you complain about a TV not working to me but not mention the pool or anything else!? You really gave me no opportunity to help you enjoy your stay and have a 5-star experience. This makes me very SAD.
4. TV's - one remote needed a battery and when you messaged me Sunday night at 8:15PM I had it resolved the next morning! Again, surprised this would make it into a public review and affect your experience enough to warrant such a low rating. There may have been some "user error" trying to use the other remote. I really wish you just called me and I could have walked you through it.
I am glad you found the condo renovated nice and well stocked and am still in shock this did not warrant you to leave atleast a 4-star review.
I really wish you were able to read my PDF welcome guide before your stay and wish we had a pre-trip call like I asked in my emails to you as I think it would have been extremely beneficial for your experience.
In addition it would have been nice if you followed our house rules and not left dirty dishes in the sink to attract bugs etc and 3 bags of stinky trash inside when we clearly describe where to bring trash to the outside barrels and ask that NO trash be left inside the unit.
We loved staying here, the views were beautiful. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Communication with the owner was amazing, responds immediately to email, text and call. Only downfall was the steep hill, but you wouldn't have the views without them, would recommend having a 4wheel drive vehicle.
Fantastic condo for our stay! We enjoyed being able to walk into town (hills are FUN :), relax by the pool after a day at the beach, use all the beach chairs, floats, and grill was an added bonus! Loved that the terrace had screens to allow fresh air, the breezes and no bugs.
This condo was perfect for our stay. While walking there is a bit of workout it is definitely close enough to do it. The house was clean and had way more kitchen supplies than I have ever seen at any other rental on St. John. I would gladly stay here again.
The property is fantastic. Great kitchen comfortable living room fabulous screened in deck. It’s got everything. A great grill great air conditioning great Wi-Fi every beach item you’ll need including snorkel gear. But the best part about this place is David the owner. Communication was constant. He sent use a great introductory letter outlining everything you need to know. And then he encourages you to call him which I did and he provides fantastic advice. He works with you to check in early if it’s possible. It was for us thank you. My wife and her sister loved the pool. It was OK for me but I’m not a pool guy. But I will see the views at sunset from the pool can’t be beat. One thing it is on a steep steep hill. Parking can be a challenge. We all were able to make the walk up and down the hill to town but I gotta tell her you’ll be out of breath. This place is worth every penny you pay for it and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. And I probably will because I love Saint John
The property was clean and perfect for my family and I (four total). The views were spectacular and the pool was a great place to end our day. The hills getting up the property look treacherous but they weren’t too difficult to navigate or walk up, even for my 55 year old mother. Thank you David for sharing your home with us!
This spot was everything we needed. Large bedrooms (and beds!), balcony areas, and bathrooms. Clean and updated. Great views and convenient to town and the grocery store. We actually enjoyed the hilly walk in and out of town. The pool was a hit with all of us and we enjoyed lounging with the resident iguana there ;) Would stay again.
Took my family to the island for my 40th birthday. Property was absolutely wonderful. David was great at answering any questions I had prior to my trip. The welcome PDF was perfect and spells out everything you need to know before arrival. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Would return again in a heartbeat!

Excellent location, but hill to walk to location was serious and shouldn’t be underestimated. Owner did try to disclose, but you don’t know until you experience. Great place!
Our first trip to St John was excellent! I heard about “the hill”, but know we KNOW the hill very well.
The walk into town is short but make sure you wear comfortable shoes. We took a taxi to and from the bays each day but it was a great pleasurable experience.
