We really enjoyed our stay at Magnolia's at Clayton Bay. We especially enjoyed exploring the garden that looks to have been designed with love and understanding of the local conditions. Great place to stay for a holiday in Clayton.
Peaceful stay. Birdwatching was excellent, bonus echidna strolling through the yard. Great beginner fishing just down the road. Lots of space, and Lesley was kind enough to allow our dog to stay too.
Lovely house and garden, a pleasure to stay at Lesley’s place. Super relaxing and quiet with comfy beds and simply everything is there. Clayton Bay is a peaceful place to base yourself to enjoy the whole area!
Great location as we had friends camping at the caravan park. Fully equipped, clean and tidy. We had a great stay, and communication with the owner was excellent.
Such a lovely home to spend some family time playing games and relaxing.
Beautiful garden to look out at and situated in a lovely area with lovely walks.
Thank you for a really beautiful holiday and for being such a generous host. We had a fabulous time and definitely hope to return!
This lovely house has versatility to be used in all seasons. With a lovely reverse cycle heater and large windows for the morning sun. Then a deck and barbie for the afternoon gatherings. Also equiped with many games, books and DVDs.The TV was a puzzle to us but that was not what the escape for. We went to visit family in the region.
Thank you to the host for providing a walk in and relaxing environment with no effort required from her guests. Amenities are spot on, and the sleep is tranquility! Clayton Bay is somewhere we will definitely come back to, to get away from the noise of every day life
Thank you Leslie for such an easy stay. Check-in was easy. The house was presented immaculately. Our time in your beautiful house was full of laughter and relaxation. Thank you for presenting such a wonderful home.
The property offered all we wanted, but needed better cleaning in a few spots ie BBQ, oven trays, inside rubbish bin. However overall would definitely recommend.
Check-in process was easy. Lesley was very responsive. The house was nice and homely, clean and tidy. Loved the art work and deco. The garden well maintained and dog proofed. It was nice to sit outside on the deck in the mornings and evenings and listen to the birds sing. The location is nice and quiet, even though it was the Easter break. Great place to unwind and relax. If we were living in South Australia, would definitely be a place we visit often.
Lesley was wonderful to communicate with and super helpful. The place was well-equipped (especially the kitchen) with a very comfy bed in the master room. The garden was beautiful and completely dog-friendly for our pup Ruby. We loved being located just one street back from the water—it gives great shelter from the strong winds. My only suggestion would be a TV upgrade in the main lounge for guests who love catching up on movies, shows, or music videos while unwinding. Overall, it’s a brilliant place to stay, and we’ve already booked our return trip for next year!
A very clean well appointed home. Comfortable beds & Furnishings. Lots of great walking tracks by the lake.We all (including the dogs) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this peaceful town. Was very enjoyable sitting on the front deck admiring Lesley’s beautiful garden.
It was a wonderful and relaxing stay for our family at Lesley's place in Clayton Bay, she has spacious and beautiful gardens as well as a massive deck, the size of the house was bigger than what's shown in the pictures, we really enjoyed and appreciated the space we had at this holiday house, and the eye-catching artworks she had on display, just gorgeous, thank you!
A well appointed, and very comfortable, home away from home. Just perfect for our needs, wanting peace and quiet with a safe fenced garden for the dogs and extra parking space too. All of our boxes were ticked.
Home owner was great at communicating all that we needed to know and was easily contactable if we needed anything😁
