About Jonathan Blum
Our family has owned this property since the 1960's. My grandfather and mother lived here. My sister and I live in New York State. We are not quite ready to retire to this marvelous place, just yet. We have found it remarkably rewarding to share this place during these uncertain times.
Jonathan Blum purchased this House in 1963
Why Jonathan Blum chose Pleasant Point
The main sections of Chadwick House were first built in 1845, we think. Additions came in 1920's and the 1990's. It is built with a mix of handhewn logs, traditional framing, and modern plaster. We are a reasonable drive to all Maine's major attractions. Yet this private lot has open fields that run down to the shore line, There is a mix of granite ledge and sand beach. Massive 14-foot tides sweep the St. George River in and out with crisp, cold sea water. What we found that by adding super fast web access, disaster resilient power back up, and strict adherence to CDC standards, we could a offer a safe place for families to reconnect during trying times. And a place for large groups to work remotely, basically anywhere on earth.
What makes this House unique
Lovely location. Proven track record for providing safe and clean housing. Strict compliance with CDC standards. Excellent Web access and full-house power back up
