Villa Ocho is situated on the Mar Menor Golf Resort, just 10 minutes away from Murcia Airport. The luxury Villa is furnished to the highest of standards & has a lovely swimming pool, BBQ & superb outdoor Dining area. The Villa has its own off street parking and comes with Free Wi-Fi access & Air Conditioning throughout.
The highly rated Mar Menor Golf resort has a superb Jack Nicklaus designed Golf course and is centered around the beautiful 5 * Intercontinental Hotel.
The Resort itself boasts plenty of Restaurants & Bars, so you don't have to venture far to find an excellent Bar or Restaurant to relax in, or of course you could dine in using the top of the range BBQ and superb Al Fresco dining area, with a huge table that seats 8, perfect for relaxing after a hard days golfing or just sunbathing.
The resort is located just a few Kilometers away from the popular Resort of Los Alcazares, where here is an abundance of Bars and Restaurants to suit every taste & budget. Los Alcazares also boasts a beautiful sandy beach, located on the calm shores of the Mar Menor Sea, Europe's largest sea lagoon, perfectly calm & safe for young bathers.
The Villa has an upstairs Sun Terrace perfect for Sun Bathing in complete privacy. Each bedroom has a Flat Screen TV with DVDs and the main living area has seating for 6-8 people a large Flat screen TV with British TV, DVD & Apple TV. Golf Trip

Villa was first class, just a short walk from the golf course. There is a local shop in the complex and has lovely fresh bread each morning, also within walking distance are plenty of restaurants and bars could not be happier with area we stayed in. Villa was brilliant and it had a large pool which we used to cool down each day, cannot recommend this villa enough. Thanks for everything

A great short break in a lovely villa

We were 3 couples who stayed at this beautiful villa for a long weekend. We couldn't fault it. Communication with the owner was great and everything was as described. Beds were comfy and the Aircon worked well. Plenty of plates and glasses which is always handy when you're part of a group. A wonderful holiday, just too short!

Lovely villa

Really nice villa with everything you need. Good size rooms and pool on a clean and attractive resort. Everything has been thought of - air con is excellent and beds are probably the most comfortable I have ever had abroad. Great outdoor space and nice sun loungers. Hosts are responsive and nothing is too much trouble. No hesitation in recommending.

Wonderful stay highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it! We have stayed in a number of places on the resort and this is our favourite so far, it was very clean and the set up of the villa was wonderful. Worked very well for our family. The kitchen was well equipped and maintained and everything worked well. The table area outside was lovely and the living room very comfortable. Bathrooms very clean. The pool was fabulous and there were permanent shady areas all day which was super. Great location for the resort restaurants and easy drive to beaches, Cartagena, Los Alcazeres etc. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely property in a beautiful location with plenty restaurants around. Central to many places if you have a car. Bad points were pool was not clean. You could not get hot water. Barbecue was not like the pictures and could not get it to work. Communication with the owner was poor.

Hi, sorry your stay wasn’t as expected, but I need to clarify a couple of points. The BBQ is exactly the one shown in the photos. The pool cleaner (who comes twice a week) explained to you that it was excess sun tan cream & not showering before entry causing the issue. We had several communications from you & replied to every one, none of which mentioned an issue with the hot water? If there are any issues during a stay, we are always available & will try to sort in a timely fashion.

Amazing Villa with everything you need

Just back from an amazing week at this amazing Villa. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place. There is nothing else needed to add, they have everything. The pool is large and great for cooling off after baking in the sun. It feels like your own place in the sun when you are there. Thank you Dan and Emma for letting us stay in your villa. Everything was just perfect. Location is just a short 10 min walk from the boulevard bars and restaurants or a 15 min drive or taxi into Los Alcazares. Will definitely be back for more.

Could have been so much better.

Not impressed, garden overgrown, continual problem with the ACUs in 2 bedrooms, no hot water in main bedroom suit. There was a bad smell in main bedroom which cleared evenually, cleaning of the villa prior to moving in was poor.

The Garden is made up of artificial grass, so unsure how it can be overgrown. No mention through the stay of any cleaning or smell issues, or we would have sorted straight away. There was an intermittent problem with AC that we got an Engineer out to in 24 hours. They advised it was sorted. The AC units have now been replaced with 2 new ones to avoid any future issues.

Easter break

We've been to the area several times before but this was our first time with the kids. We couldn't be more pleased with everything. Firstly communication with the owners was great and they were really helpful. The villa had everything we needed although the kids struggled with the pool temperature a bit. It was spotlessly clean and situated in a lovely part of the resort. The MMGR Club was a great resource to have on site which gave the kids plenty to do - my son had the pool to himself for 2 hours one morning. The food service was a bit chaotic there at peak times though. We also hung around the hotel pool and had a very good meal in the golf club there. Everyone we met on the resort was very friendly and Easter was a great time to go. We all want to go back!

Très bon séjour

Excellent séjour où nous avons profité de la maison et des alentours. L'endroit est très calme à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur du Golf Ressort. La piscine privée est grande et il y a un toujours un coin d'ombre pour s'y baigner si besoin. La maison à l'intérieur est propre et grande: chacun chambre possède un ventilateur au plafond ou la clim (idem pour le salon au rez-de-chaussée). Nous y retournerons avec plaisir !

We bought the Villa as our own Holiday Home, so when we land, we are on Holiday straight away, without wasting a few days getting to know the area. We can help you plan your perfect Holiday. We don't intend to let the Villa out continuously, just enough to cover a few bills. We have furnished it to a very high standard to meet our own needs.

Why they chose this property

The Villa overlooks a fountain and is located on one of the best Resorts we could find & being only a 25 minute drive or Taxi from the new Corvera Murcian Airport, the location was/is perfect.
