Wheelwright's Cottage is a traditional Cornish cottage situated in the heart of the lovely village of Perranwell Station just 3 minutes walk to the village shop and pub. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation for 4/5 guests with an open plan lounge/dining room with woodburner, snug room with futon and galley kitchen on the ground floor with two spacious bedrooms and stylish, modernised bathroom on the first floor.

A clean and well resourced cottage

The cottage was very clean and well resourced. It felt like our own home. We liked the pure cotton bedding and all the little touches around the rooms included bathroom scented candles. Carolyn is an excellent host. We will definitely consider booking this cottage in the future.

Family time

Booking was easy as was corresponding with Carolyn who always answered promptly any questions. The week before Carolyn called with information on our forthcoming holiday and I asked for some ideas on day trips. She was really helpful and took time with me. All info was then emailed to me. The cottage was warm and welcoming and had absolutely everything you needed. It was a perfect week away and we all felt very much at home. It was a good position for day trips for us to see as much as we possibly could of southern Cornwall. Thank you for everything.

Excellent Property

A fantastic property in a lovely town, carolyn and Paul provided very precise information. the cottage has everything we needed for our stay. decorated to a very high standard and very comfortable. we can highly recommend this cottage and the hosts.

A lovely comfortable cottage

I thought it was better than the pictures showed it to be. Very quick communication with owners. Fairly central and easy to drive to the towns in Cornwall.

New to Cornwall staycation

Immaculate and perfectly presented cottage in lovely quiet, cornish village setting. The cottage had all the ammenities we needed, and was a perfect chance to recharge the batteries. The village had a local pub and shop very close by. Carolyn and Paul were perfect hosts with excellent communication. Highly recommended cottage. Thank you !

Great cottage!

The location and the quality of the cottage are perfect. You can go everywhere by train or a short drive. The children’s play area is great and the local pub and store provide everything you need.

Enjoyable holiday in rural Cornwall

The property is as descibed. As well as being an attactive and historic stone building, the decor inside is pleasant. The usual appliances and furniture are provided to a good standard. Dining items and kitchen cutlery were comprehensive.
