Dear Kimberley, What a lovely surprise to receive your response and many thanks for it! Home away from home is exactly what we are aiming for so we are delighted that you thought of the Little House in that way. You will be pleased to hear that (touch wood!) the (high speed) internet has been functioning correctly in both houses all this year so we think the teething problems are over. We have had a number of large groups stay in both houses together both last and this year (notably at Christmas last year and a large two-week birthday party (!) this year) and the feedback we have received has been great. People like the idea of two houses they can spread themselves around in so that everyone is not stuck together in the same place all the time. so between the Main House, the Little House, the terrace and the garden there are lots of places to go for a bit of peace! And then everyone can come together in the Main House, or even in the Little House too although the table that fits 10 is in the Main House. Of course, we would say this, but we tried to design 10pm for conviviality, homeliness and, especially, for the creation of beautiful memories to take home. We love the village life, with the bakery, wine bar (oh, what wines!) and great restaurants within walking distance.
