Excellent property and experience. I wish the gravel/dirt driveway wasn't so steep. One of our rear wheel drive cars could not get safely down and up.

Thank you so much for the kind words about the property! We're sorry you experienced difficulty with the driveway. We actually do recommend four-wheel drive vehicles for most of our homes, and this is noted on our listing's webpage and pre-arrival details. We appreciate you letting us know, and hope you'll visit us again with a suitable vehicle next time. Safe travels! Madison, Railey Vacations

Great stay and cabin! Would have loved a little more view of the lake, but if you are off the lake and a road separates you, you’ll get that limited view. Overall a great location close to restaurants and boat rental locations

Lovely birthday weekend away

Red Moose Cabin was lovely! The space, access to the lake, the deck. Only isdue was a lack of soap for the bathrooms and dishes, which we ended up purchasing ourselves. I loved my time in this cabin.

⸻We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in McHenry/Deep Creek! The place was very neat, beautifully made, and felt cozy the moment we walked in. The hosts were thoughtful and left us a complimentary package with essentials like paper towels, dishwasher soap, and toilet paper, which we really appreciated. The only small issue we noticed was the fridge filter, which seemed expired and wasn’t working properly ,and also the place was a little bit cold .but everything else was perfect. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
