We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The house was incredibly comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen was especially well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy relaxing evenings in.We also loved the easy walk into downtown Belfast, which made exploring the shops, restaurants, and waterfront so convenient. It was the perfect combination of a peaceful home and a great location. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Very clean, well maintained, tastefully decorated, comfortable house. Close enough to the town center to walk to many restaurants, shopping and the harbor. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Nice front porch and private quiet back patio. Lots of space. Would be great for two families because it has a separate back apt with its own smaller kitchen and seating area and two bedrooms. A door connects a front bedroom and a back bedroom. Owners seem nice. Very communicative and left helpful instructions.
This was our second time staying at this beautiful, historic home. The hosts literally think of everything to make guests feel like home and the kitchen has every pot, pan and utensil you could possibly need to cook meals. The home is spacious and the beds are comfortable. My husband and I came with my parents and our four children and we had plenty of room. The house is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the local co-op grocery store as well as the gorgeous bay downtown. It is a short walk to a local rocky beach that the kids loved exploring. Belfast is a magical place and we plan on going back one day.
The house was everything and more. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped and the perfect location to walk to town. The kitchen was large and accommodating for numerous cooks at the same time. Back yard was great for the toddlers to play. We loved our 3 week stay in Belfast.

Great property.
This is our second stay. Lee and her husband could not be more accommodating. Great location to town.
My family and I had another wonderful stay in Belfast. Located a couple blocks from the center of town, we enjoyed having a "home base" walking distance to the water, shops, and restaurants in the center of town. The house itself was comfortable as always with plenty of room to find a quiet spot when needed and a great kitchen for cooking meals.
The house was roomy and well equipped. It was great for a multigenerational family vacation. There was enough privacy but within walking distance to Belfast.
Three generations of our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this multi-bed, well-equipped house! It had everything we needed and lots that we didn’t even know we needed! Our hosts were prompt and upbeat responders. We would definitely stay here again.
Another wonderful stay in Belfast! Enjoyed the closeness to the center of town, the outside space, and all the amenities inside the house. The heat pump mini-splits keep the house very comfortable in the hotter weather.
The house was perfect- the owners thought of every possible thing you could need and then some. Very well maintained home with all the comforts of your own home. Loved everything about it.

Another wonderful week
Our family enjoyed our third summer at this home. We took advantage of the spacious layout and wonderful back yard, and, as always, found new places and activities to enjoy in Belfast. We had a delightful time, and hope to return again.

Thank you Susan,
We so enjoy having you and your family return each summer. We greatly appreciate your meticulous care of our home. It is our pleasure to have you as guests.
You and your family are welcome anytime. We hope to see you in the summer of 2019.
Lee and Charlie’s place is a perfectly located cozy place with enough space for everyone. The house is super well stocked with kitchen items (we were very excited about the pastry cutter!) and it has everything you might need. Just a few blocks from Maine street in one direction and to the waterfront in the other, you don’t need to use your car to get around unless you’re venturing out of town. We would definitely recommend this home!
A cozy, well kept home with lots of character. Owner furnished home with many amenities to make our stay pleasant & comfortable. Would rent this property again in a heartbeat. ❤

Thanks, Roberta. We appreciate the care you took of our home. Do come again.
This house was very charming! Perfect for our group of three small families. It had all the basics for cooking, good pans, etc. Wish it had kid (plastic) plates and cups, but that might be my only piece of feedback. The co-op down the street is great, and easy to get to. Belfast is a sleepy little town that’s quaint, and was a not-too-bad distance to Acadia (1:20 mins).
I was impressed with how well stocked it was. We all like to cook and it was the best kitchen we have had in all the years of renting from VRBO. The space was wonderful for multiple family members. The location is so accessible to shops and outdoor spaces. It is next to a busy road so there is a fair amount of traffic noise without that this house would be 100% for me. We hope to return again next year.
Lee and Charlie’s home in Belfast is the perfect place to stay. The location close to the boat house was perfect for sea glass hunting on the beach and walking into town for ice cream, a new book, a new toy, a beer or to eat at a restaurant. The interior of the home worked perfectly for our family of 5. The house is well stocked with all the necessities and even more thoughtful things for day trips. We had an amazing stay at their home. They communicated with us in a very timely fashion and the check in and out process was very easy. I
The house is large and airy with great porch and patio sitting areas. Comfy beds. The kitchen is well stocked with everything for cooking at home, including large lobster pot, roasting pan, and stock pot.
Wish list items - knife sharpener, lobster picks, large cutting board and serving platters. We love to cook!
Things to know: parking at the house will work for up to 3 regular sized cars (not trucks or large SUVs). Everything is in walking distance if you don't have mobility issues. Make time for the Saturday Farmers Market and buy lobsters and clams for home cooking at The Lobster Pound!
The property was just as advertised! Beautiful inside and out! The second "apartment" was perfect for my brother and his young family. There was plenty of room to be together as well as have some privacy. Being a former chef I'd prefer gas kitchen appliances however the electric stove held up great, even using two large lobster pots at the same time! The area was quiet and the front porch was used every morning for coffee. The town is walking distance for anything you need. Due to dietary reasons we cook over 90% of our own meals and the kitchen and dining area was absolutely equipped for the 10 people in our family, from ages 3 to 81. Considering the past 2-3 years we all had, this was a perfect place and exactly what we needed.
