Second to none location on the harbour, great communication with Emma the owner . The housekeeper couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend this property.
Well what a beautiful location and the property was exactly as on the booking site. The surronding shops and pubs served great food. We have had a wonderful holiday and would recomend this property to anyone wanting a harbour village experience.
The property was ideally situated near the harbour for swimming, shops & pubs for food & drink. It was cozy, clean & had everything necessary for a lovely stay.
This is a very comfortable cottage with great amenities. We felt at home from the moment we entered. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to use. The couches in the living area were very comfortable, with a very handy nest of side tables provided. The little 'log' heater provided great atmosphere. Plenty of storage space, and hangers, in the bedrooms. The location was perfect for us, with harbour views and just a few steps to The Blue Peter, Three Pilchards or a range of Cafes. Wonderful shower, with great water pressure. This cottage has been thoughtfully setup and although we were there for only 3 nights it would definitely suit a longer stay.
Our holiday house was lovely, clean, all the equipment in the kitchen you need and very charming in a beautiful harbour setting, the host was very good in communication and the check in process easy would recommend
The Harbour masters cottage is in one of the prime locations in Polperro, right on the harbour between the Blue Peter Inn and the Three Pilchards, with views onto the harbour from each of the four floors... This cottage oozes character, it's 500 years old and is part of the original village, we loved our stay here in this lovely, quirky and possibly haunted cosy cottage.
Cant say enough good things about booking, contact before and during stay. Cottage very clean and well presented. Beds vey comfy. In middle of town and right by beautiful harbour. Very friendly people.we eould love to go back.
We booked a very last min get away. The quick comms was great, everything went smoothly from booking, to getting in. The property was perfectly located and had an everything we needed, even a bottle of fizz waiting for us. Couldn’t fault anything, was just perfect! Highly recommended and do wish to come back again.
This cottage is just perfect. We loved our stay in Polperro and will certainly be back!
Fantastic location, super cosy but surprisingly roomy set over 4 floors. Everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Communication with Emma in the build up was excellent, check in is super easy and you won’t be disappointed you stayed here.

It is right on the harbour front with views over the harbour. Pubs and interesting shops nearby. It is very comfortable with everything you need. The electricity is on a coin slot but the heating is supplied elsewhere so it's not expensive. It was a very memorable stay.
We loved this little property and where it's placed in the harbour, the only thing we would say, and only in our opinion, is that we loved the top room more so thought it should be the double bed room, we still slept up there though! Great place!!!
Very atmospheric cottage on the harbour withe sights and sounds of the sea nearby. Close to everything in the compact, beautiful village of Polperro. The steep narrow stairs between the cottage floors add to the character but wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility problems.
Despite poor weather we had a great time. Grandparents with two grandkids. We swam off the local beach, visited the Eden Project, surfed at Polzeath, enjoyed the model village, ate lots of pasties and had great food at the Three Pilchards. And managed to see Barbie and a Spiderman film. An enjoyable and packed holiday.
Wonderful stay in this charming cottage right on the harbour side. Property is nicely furnished with everything needed for a relaxing break. Rooms were a good size and good wifi signal everywhere - which kept the kids happy. Although we had a slight problem with the oven, Emma was right on it and sorted out a replacement and engineer quickly and with good communication throughout. The house is right next to two fantastic pubs with great food - noise levels were fine and we found it very peaceful as there is no real traffic in the village. Just waking up to the sound of seagulls and the water in the harbour - amazing! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this great find. Thank you Emma!
We had a fantastic stay at the Harbourmaster’s Cottage. The location is right on the harbour and only steps away from the beach, which our two children (ages 4 and 7) absolutely loved exploring. Polperro itself is such a special place, and being in the heart of it made the whole trip extra memorable. The cottage is spread across three floors, full of character and very comfortable. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook family meals, and the bedrooms and living areas were well set up for relaxing after a day out. The coin-operated electricity meter worked smoothly, and we found it very reasonable for the length of our stay. The hosts were very responsive and made everything easy from start to finish. One tip: if you’re bringing luggage or shopping from the car park, a small cart or trolley is very useful for the walk through the village streets.Overall, a lovely cottage in a magical location – we’d happily come back and highly recommend it.
A lovely cottage which was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a short break and was in a fantastic location. There were lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from which were literally on our doorstep, as well as lovely cafes for breakfast. The only issue we had was the 15 minute walk down the hill from the car park with kids and luggage/towels in tow (towels aren’t supplied). This was hard work, particularly as we weren’t planning on eating out every night and therefore had bags of shopping to carry as well. The £40 parking charge (paid in £1 coins) was a bit steep for 4 days, as well as having to feed the electricity meter in the cottage with £1 coins. However, we had a really lovely time and I would still highly recommend!
Really good please to stay. Right in the heart of the village and the harbour. I would say it’s better suited to older children 4+ but we still had a brilliant time with a 9mo and a 2yr old.
We had a very restful stay. Stairs are steep and quite a few people walking past window which would of benefited of some nets or similar other than that a lovely cottage to stay in.
Ein wirklich sehr schöner Ort und prima gelegen um die nähere Umgebung Zufluss zu erwandern.
