About the host
Hosted by Phil Jones
We have been visiting Stackpole for the last 25 years & have enjoyed many happy family holidays there, playing on the beach, walking through the woods & just generally enjoying the pleasures of rural life.
Why they chose this property
We really love this cottage & the surrounding area & have been visiting for the last 25 years (my husband is originally from this area and we have family locally). The village of stackpole is made all the more lovely by the Stackpole Inn (a traditional country pub which also serves stunning food & is Condé Nast recommended) & the surrounding Pembrokeshire countryside is stunning.
There are beautiful walks from the front door which take you across fields & woodland (well maintained tracks) directly to Barafundle Bay (approx 25 mins) & Bosherston Lily Ponds (approx 20 mins) and give easy access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
What makes this property unique
The joy of this cottage is in its idyllic location - if you're looking for a rural property with easy access to fields, woodland & coastal scenery, you'll be delighted! We are also dog-friendly & the property is well maintained and well equipped. We have many regular returning guests.
