We were in Vermont for a wedding with my kids and grandchildren. We decided to stay for the week and enjoy the area. We are very glad we did. The house is beautiful and had plenty of room for all 11 of us. We enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen and roasting marshmallows in the firepit in the beautifully landscaped very private yard. When we left something in the house the property manager very kindly helped us work it out! I would definitely stay here again and recommend that you come stay too!
Wonderful home to spread out and enjoy our time . It had the needed amenities in the kitchen and home which made our stay much easier . Great location for dining , shopping and skiing
The property was exactly what we needed the weekend after a busy Christmas holiday. It was huge and had so much space for all 12 of us to chill out, cook meals and play games. The house and all of the rooms were cozy and clean. We loved this house!
This home is everything you could want for a wonderful stay in Vermont. Close to great shopping, and many restaurants, coming back to this comfortable home was relight!
Location Location Location! This place is perfect for a trip to the Manchester area. We had two families with small kids and the house was great - plenty of room and very livable. Pretty grounds and well done interior. Loved our stay!
Spacious house, comfy beds, lots of amenities, anything you need to make a big family meal in the kitchen! All of this in a quiet neighborhood, close to the lovely town of Manchester.
The perfect house for our annual family ski weekend. A few adults, some adult children and 2 teens. We have stayed at numerous houses over the years and this one was top of the list. Kitchen was great for large family meals, grounds were gorgeous. TV and fireplace room was just right for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Had everything you could want. Would love to come again!
Everything at the house was perfect. The house was beautiful, clean and functional. The owner answered us immediately regarding one minor issue. My family had a great time and we will definitely rent there again. Thank you for everything!
We had a wonderful family reunion for multiple generations in this spotless and spacious home in Manchester, VT. The kitchen had all the items we needed for our meals, including a coffee with Keurig K-Cup pods, and everyone slept well on extremely comfortable beds with warm comforters! Many thanks for a lovely stay.
Our family of grandparents, adult children and children age 3-14 stayed here for 3 nights while attending a wedding. It was a perfect location and great outside areas for the kids to play. Inside was large enough for early risers and late sleepers to enjoy. Neighborhood was perfect for walking. Tom was accommodating and very easy to reach. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
Due to warm temperatures and rain, we went hiking instead. Lots of great trails.
House had lots of space for 5 kids and 4 adults to relax in their own space (fuzzball
Table room for older kids, fireplace room for adults, and TV room for younger kids to watch cartoons).
Tom is a great host. Very communicative and gives his home a great attention of detail and thoughtfulness for his guests based on all the amenities he provides and his detailed messages. The home is clean and very well stocked. The home is in a very central location, close to downtown Manchester, Bromley Mountain, rafting/kayaking, etc. my family and Inhad a great time staying at the home and in Manchester. I highly recommend this home for a relaxing and fun filled family vacation!
Tom's place was lovely and just what we needed for our large extended family get together. With two wings and two living rooms we could spread out and meet in the well-equipped kitchen for family meals. Tom was very responsive and checking in and out was easy. Highly recommend.
Tom was very informative, helpful and great to deal with. The house is very roomy, clean, fully stocked and had everything we needed for a 4 night getaway. Can’t wait to book again!
The house were well stocked with almost everything. With us all the adults in the house, didn't feel cramped at all. It is a very comfortable house , a convenient location to the shop. Tom respond all our questions very quickly. Highly recommended for big party group.
My family of four spent Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful home. It had recently been decorated for the holiday season, and looks like it should be used for a Hallmark Christmas movie. The home is warm and welcoming. You have plenty of privacy, but are so close to the outlets and many great restaurants and attractions. It was our home away from home - the perfect vacation!
Thomas was a Great host. He was very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. House was comfortable and spacious. If I had to point out any negatives I would say the mattresses in the bedrooms, except for the master, we’re not comfortable and the kitchen could have been stocked with more accessories. All in all I would highly recommend this property.
What a wonderful home - we highly recommend it! The kitchen was great for our foodie family of eight adults -- with two dishwashers and three sinks, we were able to keep the dishes clean while we enjoyed family meals.
My father-in-law has trouble with staircases and used the sleeper-sofa and lovely downstairs bathroom without issue (note that there is still one stair from the living-room to the kitchen).
Tom is very responsive and the house is well stocked. I can't say enough great things. Plus - the town is amazing! The home was decorated for Christmas, which made our stay all the more lovely. We hope to be back.

TJ and Allison enjoyed living at this residence for nearly 4 years. Work required us to travel so we have lived in several states across the North East (NY, PA, MA, CT, NJ, and MD). Our family of 5 enjoyed skiing and hiking the mountains of VT in the winter and golfing in the summer - fall. We vacation in Cape Cod during the summer.
Why they chose this property
This property has a very private setting, set back 350 feet from Powderhorn Road and had views of the valley and mountains below. We enjoyed how close it was to the 5-star Equinox Hotel and nearby BBA school. The close proximity to Stratton and Bromley made us very popular among our family and friends during the winter months.
What makes this property unique
One of the my favorite features of this house are the stained glass windows & unique archways leading into the dinning area and into the kitchen. The family room is cozy with a wood burning stove, wide plank wood floors and lots of windows. The master suite and huge closet were a “thing of dreams” and made my wife fall in love with this charming french-country house nestled at the base of the Equinox Mountain.
