The Lodge is a rustic retreat perfect for a large family gathering, friends gathering for a memorable football weekend, holidays or any celebration. The Lodge is an elegantly decorated 2,600 square feet home with 4 bedrooms and two living rooms. The entire interior of the home is crafted of wood, providing a charming and cozy atmosphere. The house accommodates up to 10 people and has a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker and Keurig. The architecture highlights include a large open floor plan, chef's kitchen, screened in porch and large wrap-around porch. The porch gives you plenty of room to relax or entertain any time of the year. The main level is an open floor plan with a large living space. The upstairs of this home features two quiet, peaceful bedrooms with a shared full bath. The upstairs also includes a living space, perfect for watching TV, reading a book or area for kids to play. The downstairs includes a master bedroom with a private full bath and a guest bedroom with 2 sets of built-in twin sized bunkbeds. The bunkbed room is a favorite with children of all ages. The bunk room has an adjoining full bath. The property also features Direct TV, complimentary WIFI and washer/dryer for your convenience. A Weber charcoal grill.

Stay was great.

Beautiful and comfortable. Enough room for everyone. There were a few minor issues with plumbing and electrical that I let Daniel know that I’m certain will be fixed. Would stay again.

Beautiful property

We absolutely loved our visit to Taylor. This was our first time staying this far out from campus but it was very easy to navigate to/from Ole Miss. The house was perfect for our group and such a peaceful setting. Great hosts! Thank you for the hospitality!

This house was perfect for a large group like ours. Had everything we needed and very close to Oxford but also in a peaceful location. We would stay here again!

This property was purchased in 2013 as an out of town get away. It is 20 acres located 1/2 mile from the historic Taylor, MS restaurant - Taylor Grocery. It has a 2 bedroom lakehouse and a 4 bedroom lodge. The lakehouse was renovated in 2013 and the lodge was recently renovated in 2015.

Our home is the perfect getaway while visiting Oxford for those who want to be near all of Oxford's finest attractions while still being able to enjoy some peace and quiet. During your stay, you will be able to take full advantage of the lake as well as enjoy all of the comforts of home with our fully furnished amenities.

Peace and quiet. Unique, cabin like feel. Being surrounded by nature. Beautiful views.
Easy access to Oxford & Ole Miss, but far enough to get away. A short drive to two great restaurants, Taylor Grocery and Grit.
