4 nights in the Fir Tree Lodge

Great holiday, very relaxing location, great accommodation, that has got everything you need you for your stay, very helpful hosts, some really good drives for days out, Glenshee ski resort and Dunkeld spring to mind, but there must be lots more that I have not explored yet, Perthshire is a great region and I will most definitely return to escape the hustle bustle of Edinburgh

Our third stay at the lodge. The lodge has everything you need. Host very welcoming and the lodge nicely prepared for our arrival (heating on, fresh milk in the fridge, plate of biscuit treats, a lamp on in each room as we were arriving around sunset). Very quiet location but handy for local amenities. Highly recommended.

A very spacious lodge with a well equipped kitchen. We felt very comfortable and at home.

In addition to that, the gas central heating is superb. And it has a very good electric shower and a spacious shower tray. The layout of the common spaces allows for good social time.

Fantastic short break

We visited for a family weekend break and had a lovely time. The accomodation is spacious with open and tranquil surroundings. Blairgowrie village is within walking distance and has lots of eating places. We would definitely recommend it and will be going back.
