THE VILLA HAS RECEIVED THE 2017-2018 "CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE" from TripAdvisor.

The villa is situated in a very quiet residential area called Bella Vista with stunning views of the Natural Monument of Los Ajaches and in the background you can see the beaches of Papagayo. It is only 15 minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach, Playa Flamingo.

The Villa consists of 6 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms distributed over two floors:
On the ground floor there is a comfortable living area with TV (with IPTV television broadcasting system (offering channels such as Sky Sport 1, 2, 3 and 4, BT Sport 1 and 2, ITV 1, 2, 3 and 4, BBC 1, 2, 3 and 4 among others) and DVD.
There is an air-conditioned dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances, including oven/kitchen, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and others.
As for sleeping comforts, it consists of 2 suites equipped with Air Conditioning, one with walk-in wardrobe, 2 bedrooms with two beds, and a full bathroom, bathrooms with bath/shower, bidet and hair dryer. The villa has WIFI.

On the ground floor it consists:

Spacious living room with 4800 frigorías air conditioning, TV and XBOX ONE console, with two controls. Games area with pool table and Air Hockey. A double bedroom with double bed and another with two single beds. Bathroom with shower.

Outside there is a very private outdoor dining area with Canarian style barbecue leading to a beautiful heated pool and a large Jacuzzi.

Maximum number of guests 12 persons.

Lovely villa, within walking distance of a few places to eat. Pool and hot tub were great. Games room was good but a little smelly and I wouldn’t have wanted to be sleeping down there. Some new pillows are needed. The walk up the volcano behind the villa was lovely with panoramic views.

Great Villa, well equipped, very clean, games room, hot tub and pool are great additions. We had a couple of issues nothing major ( light bulb and power tripped) Which were sorted out very quickly. Only downstairs was no bars etc in walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Carmen. As a group of 6 adults and 4 children the Villa provided us with all we needed. The pool and outside area is very well positioned with plenty of seating and sunbeds, the games room was a real bonus. The layout of the Villa is perfect for multiple families. It is very well equipped and usable.The communication from the start of our booking to the end was faultless, Sonia and Daniel were of great help and support to our group on our first visit to Lanzarote.We had such a great time that we have booked again for next year.Thank you for the memories Villa Carmen.

Spent 8 fantastic nights in this beautiful villa the owner Sonia was so helpful right from when we first made contact. Fantastic villa

The Villa was perfect. Games room downstairs was just great for our age range The villa was clean and the pool was perfect. A little way out of the centre but taxis easily at hand for 5 euros. A lovely stay and would recommend .

Villa Carmen is situated in a quiet area with stunning views. Small supermarket 5 mins walk away. 35 mins walk into the main part of Playa Blanca. We made full use of the pool and hot tub and the games room was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend this villa.

Lovely break in a lovely villa

A lovely well needed break in the sunshine. Central to drive to either to the Rubicon Marina or Playa Blanca Town. The villa was spacious comfortable and in a secluded area. Perfect facilities and great to choose either the pool or the hot tub. The games room was fab as well.We loved it there and hope to return. Gerry was very friendly and really knowledgeable, about the island and made sure we knew how to work everything in the villa.It was great to be able to use the washing machine as well meaning i just had to unpack when we got home.

Great stay spoiled by flood and sewage.

Hi Sonia, feel a bit disappointed you haven’t had anything to say about the flood and sewage in the downstairs rooms, everything was great until the last couple of days and the downstairs toilet flooded and then the drain outside the downstairs bedroom overflowed and splashed up the walls and stank, not very nice for my son, his partner and 5 year old and 7 month old boys.

Playa Blanca Family Stay

Overall it was a most enjoyable stay. The villa was spacious, well appointed with attractive interior decor. It was very suitable for families of different ages having the swimming pool and the games room. Unfortunately there was a bad smell in the downstairs bathroom which came and went during the week and did affect the couple sleeping downstairs.

The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. We stayed for a special family birthday and ages ranged from 23-70, we all had a ball. The only thing I would say is that taxis weren’t always readily available so if anyone in the party has mobility issues, I’d recommend a car. There is ample parking available. Communication with the villa owner and property manager was quick and easy throughout.

Lovely large property, well maintained with lots of activities. Good sized outside area and large games room. Nicely decorated, with everything you need for a relaxing break. Quiet residential area, with mini market close by. 40 minute walk down hill to central Playa Blanca. Dead easy to order a taxi if not up for the walk. Communication before stay was excellent and handover by Manager friendly and comprehensive. Great holiday rental for adults and older children. Would not hesitate to recommend.

All that we needed for our family of 12..6 adults 4 teenagers and 11 and 8 yr old. Gerry and Dan very helpful and quick to respond to one problem. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Villa Carmen. One minor point a few more wine glasses/flutes would be nice. We would recommend this property and certainly consider it for another stay in Player Blanca Thank you to the hosts. Our arrival was excellent, we were greeted by Gerry who was lovely. The villa was lovely and clean, and everything we expected. Our only negatives were that we did not have hot water for two days and continued to have issues with delays in hot water. Another issue was the heat pump for the pool had a slight crack which caused a few leaks. A final issue was the dishwasher, we had to purchase salt and rinse aid as well as further dishwasher tablets, and the plates/drinks still came out dirty quite often.

Disappointing

Told not to use downstairs bathroom as will flood. Didn’t use. It flooded. Called liars by manager who was very rude. Spoilt holiday. No access to main house from basement have to go outside. Only one set of keys and we had young children staying so we had to lock the door and give keys to family in basement in case they needed to use the bathroom overnight. Before booking I queried the use of a bathroom in the basement and was assured no issue as shower and toilet there for use. 2 days before we arrived we were advised we could not use the bathroom because of an issue on the urbanisation. No time to source another villa. We didn’t use the bathroom it flooded twice. We were accused of using the bathroom. We hadn’t. They locked the bathroom. It flooded again so obviously wasn’t us! I’ve never been so insulted in my life. It’s is a real shame because the villa could be lovely with better management. Pool and hot tub only cleaned once in a 10 night stay which is against what it says in the survey they ask you to fill in which states should be cleaned every 4 days. Overall a disappointing holiday

We greatly appreciate you informing us about the inconveniences you encountered, as this allows us to identify areas where we can make improvements. We also regret the situation regarding the use of the bathroom and the way in which communications were handled in this regard. A few days before your arrival, you were notified about the scheduled work and given a detailed explanation of the risks associated with keeping the bathroom open. However, due to your insistence and discomfort, it was decided to leave it open, contrary to our initial recommendation. In hindsight, we believe that it would have been more appropriate to keep it closed from the outset. We would like to reiterate that this situation was unforeseeable and that at no time was it our intention to cause inconvenience or misunderstanding to our guests. On the contrary, we always work with the intention of offering the best possible experience and we continuously strive to achieve this.
