A weekend to remember at Brock Cottage.....for all the right reasons.

A beautiful, spacious house in a glorious, peaceful location.
Exciting decor! There is a Wow factor !
We were a group of nine, from ages 27 to 79 and it ticked all our boxes.
And close to everywhere and everything you could possibly want to visit and do in the Cotswolds.....or just enjoy lovely walks around the Nature Reserve on the Cottage doorstep.

Perfect
This is a great place to stay. The only negatives are, access (the track to it is awful) and some of the artwork which is not really child friendly (although of an excellent quality).

Family weekend
3 couples, 1 single and 5 grandchildren stayed for a weekend party. The house was in a secluded spot. We had a lovely time. Plenty of open space for the children to play. Excellent walks in the Nature Reserve.
House was clean and well stocked with items you don’t usually get, eg tea coffee toilet roll washing up liquid.
Ample space to spread out if you want a quiet spot to relax or read.
Lots of interesting art work and features. It would be nice to have some history of the house.

Extended family getaway
Great place to stay for an extended family getaway. Excellent space both inside and outside for 3 young children to run about and play. Could have been a little cleaner but overall, it was perfect for us and the location was great.
Really great place to stay, everything as described, nice furnishings and a great open plan living area

Incredible property in a beautiful place
A fabulous house with so much space and in a wonderful location. Just a shame the cleaners hadn't left enough loo roll!

Great location for an early family xmas weekend away.
Very social dining/lounge entertaining space with everything we needed.
Lovely walks straight out the front door too.
Would definitely recommend. .
The pictures for this house do not do it justice! This house is amazing, so character full and quirky with an amazing communal space that easily fitted our group of 14. The children’s bedrooms were so lovely and thoughtful. I only wish we had stayed longer.

Peaceful woodland cabin
Brock Cottage is a quirky, individual property in the middle of Foxholes Nature Reserve, perfect for a relaxing, calming stay. The bedrooms are all individually decorated, with comfortable beds and quality bedlinen. The huge kitchen/sitting/dining room is well equipped for catering for a crowd and the log burner ensures that the room is warm and cosy. Outside, the gardens are full of wildlife and the peace is only disturbed by birdsong. The owner was extremely helpful before and during our stay, thank you!
Pros: Plenty of space, fabulous log burner, peaceful surroundings, great walks from the front door
Cons: Very pot-holed track to property, bedrooms and bathrooms cold (February) even with the heating on

Lovely weekend stay with family
Had a fab weekend celebrating some big birthdays. There was plenty of room for our family and we never felt as though we were on top of one another. The children loved the various places when playing hide and seek! Nice addition having some essentials such as tea/coffee/condiments etc. on arrival. Need to be mindful that it is off the beaten track and the directions do need to be followed carefully. I wouldn't like to arrive when it is dark as there are quite a lot of potholes and need to just take your time and navigate away from them. Adam was a fantastic host; very communicative and on hand for anything.
Idyllic weekend with wonderful friends for my 50th
Beautiful property - perfect in every way for a memorable weekend of celebrating.

Fantastic house for a family stay.
This house offers an amazing family living/dining area that was the hub of our weekend. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cater for a large group.
Bedrooms are spacious and offer versatility for adults and children, we had 11 adults, three teenagers and a toddler and it was perfect. Cot and high chair also provided.
The garden is idyllic. We enjoyed a family Easter egg hunt and we all had visits in the garden from a family of deer.
The walks surrounding the house are varied and well signed. We also walked to Bruern farm shop cafe which is about a 20 minute walk and has a great menu and large seating areas inside and out. You can book for a large party too.
The owner is so helpful and offers great communication.
This is a perfect house for a family gathering. We will be back soon for another Easter or possibly a Christmas break.
Thanks for wonderful memories.

A unique spacious place to stay
We had the best big family Christmas at brock cottage - plenty of space for everyone, an extremely well stocked kitchen and such comfortable spaces to spend time as a family. It was the perfect balance of spacious and cosy. We loved the unique vibe and the location is ideal for exploring either on foot or in short drives to all the cotswold must-see spots. We’d definitely go again, thank you!
House suited our family of small children and adults very well. Loved the spacious kitchen area and safe garden. Great house for hide'n' seek!
Comfortable beds and lovely linen.
The owner was very helpful too.

A family gathering to celebrate Golden Wedding
Brock Cottage is a stunning property. Very colourful, with “secret” rooms and passageways. We were a group of eleven - six adults and five children. We loved the seclusion and the direct access to dog walks. The children adored the garden which is huge. We even had deer visit us! A great stay.

Wonderful family weekend
Excellent property, querky and lots of space for a group to spread out. Very helpful host who responded rapidly to any queries.
Be aware of it being very rural and not everyone would be able to access as the drive in involves dirt tracks and potholes.
Long weekend for 12 including 6 kids under 11. A great stay in an amazing and quirky cottage. Loads of room for everyone to have space and yet get together for meals and socialising. Kids loved the huge garden with woods and a stream, building dens and bridges. Would come back in a heartbeat.
Great space for all family members especially as some bedrooms were easy access. Fully eqipped as described and great for walks. One downside was our not appreciating that the rural location was truly that- an unmade road is the last section of the access. Not a problem in itself, but as we had wedding transport pre-arranged we had to do some on the spot revisions for those with mobility issues. Didn't detract from our stay.

Great for a Family Weekend
Set in a very rural location Brock Cottage was perfect for our Family weekend. Tee cottage is large and rambling with memorable decoration. With 8 adults plus 5 children ages 1 to 5 there was plenty of space for everyone. We were very lucky with the weather as the garden was a perfect place to have outdoor fun.
Brock Cottage was well equipped with everything we needed.

Wonderful stay
This is our second trip at Brock Cottage with extended family. It is perfect for all ages. The huge living area looks out into the garden so is very safe for children to play while adults look on. It is an original, eclectic and spacious house with comfortable bedrooms and extremely well equipped. It is in a very isolated location in a nature reserve so is quiet and all you can hear are the birds. A very unique and lovely place

Great stay for family groups
Lovely location. Fantastically interesting house and garden, so much to look at and explore. Day three and I was still finding bits of art I hadn't noticed.
All very clean and well equipped kitchen. Plenty of crockery for our group.
Only slight gripe was that it was really hot weather but we felt we could've done with opening the velux windows but they wouldn't work, but then it was an extraordinarily hot weekend.
The surrounding area is beautiful and we enjoyed the walks and local villages. All in all a fantastic place to stay and we'd love to return in the future.
