We had a lovely stay! Thanks.

The location is perfect, just outside the area with shops and restaurants. It’s really walkable and feels very safe. The house is beautiful, it feels really calm and the decor is lovely. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a really relaxed stay (two adults and two teenagers).

The place was lovely and perfect

The place was a great base for Menorca, it’s perfectly situated in Ciutadella which had many nearby food options. The house itself it’s beautiful and lovely to relax in after a day exploring. Would happily stay here again.

We were thrilled with our stay.

The location is perfect if you want to walk and enjoy the town and also be close to drive to many beaches. The townhouse was very clean and fresh, and beautifully decorated. The welcome basket was also very nice! The amenities had all we needed. We would love to come back and highly recommend!

The perfect place

If you want to explore Cuitadella and the surrounding region this is the perfect place. Felt like away from the bustle of the normal tourist area… so close to all the bars, shopping and restaurants and the beautiful harbour. Great villa which was perfect for 2 adults and two teenagers. Plenty of space and very comfortable.

Beautifully restored and well equipped house with sweet sunny courtyard.

Very clean. Great kitchen and living area, and ingeniously designed bedrooms and bathrooms. Can occasionally hear basketball games from the back of the house, but it’s no big deal. Brilliantly located a few mins from the centre of the old town with lots of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants.

Thank you so much for a great stay.

The house was perfect for us 4 senior women staying there. We came to do some bike riding and as it was a first time for all of us, we were delighted with such a distinctive location that even we couldn’t get lost! We cooked all our meals in the house. There was a wonderful collection of dishes, cutlery, pits and pans and bowls for meal preparation. The washing machine was great and our clothes dried rapidly in the warm Menorcan sunshine. We greatly appreciated the tasty and generous snacks left for us. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Great place to stay in a great location.

Hi great place and great communication. Easy walking to all the points of interest. Really clean. Thoughtful touch with a welcome basket. We loved it. Would recommend. Weather was a bit cold and though the heater system was great, downstairs it made the dining area nice and warm but didn’t reach the lounge area so we were all a bit cold. Could also do with an extra layer on the bedsthicker duvet in the colder months.

Ideal

Ideal location, very clean, very nice, ideal for a family of 4-5 people. Very easy to find the house and keys, so no worries if there was no one to welcome us physically. Overall we loved the place and highly recommend it. We had some issue with neighbors being noisy but the agency managed that issue quickly. The agency does not answer if you have minor issues on a Sunday.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in Ciutadella

Our arrival was met with a delightful welcome package, including local Menorcan cheese, wine, sweets, and crisps. The apartment was impeccably maintained, with particular attention to the cleanliness of the kitchenware, an aspect often overlooked. We appreciated the ample supply of toilet paper and dishwasher tablets. The property's proximity to downtown Ciutadella, a mere five-minute walk, was highly advantageous. Please be advised that the building features four levels of stairs, which may present a challenge for elderly guests or individuals with knee injuries. The bedding was of excellent quality, and the air conditioning units functioned effectively throughout all rooms. The small terrace proved convenient for drying swimwear and towels. The property's visual representations accurately reflect its appeal. The primary challenge encountered was the parking situation. Guests are required to park approximately 500 meters away at Placa Princep. Due to its central location, this area experiences high demand for parking, meaning a space is not always guaranteed, and paid parking may be necessary for certain periods, requiring subsequent vehicle relocation. However, our total parking expenses for the week did not exceed 10€. Numerous excellent coves are accessible within a 15-20 minute drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and anticipate a return visit. Nothing, we had a great stay.

The town house was absolutely lovely

The town house was absolutely lovely - it was exactly as described. It was super clean and ideal for a week's vacation. There is a nice big free (I think) car park nearby called Parking Es Pla - it was just a big open space by the harbour. The car can get a bit dusty, but just take it for a wash before handing back. There are other free bays nearby but they do disappear quick. The location is perfect for exploring Ciutadella. Everything is within a few minutes walk. The place itself is very spacious and well maintained. They made a lovely gesture by leaving us some stuff in the fridge upon our arrival. We'd definitely stay here again if we return to Menorca.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice review. We were delighted to hear that you liked the house so much and that you were so satisfied with our service. Certainly, the location is optimal and, as you say, it is very convenient and recommendable to park your car in the Es Pla car park. Thank you again for your visit, the Mauter Villas team looks forward to welcoming you again!

Loved this home in old Ciutadella!

An extremely positive and enjoyable vacation for us and we are delighted with both the accomodation and theMauter Villas experience. Loved this home in a great location, well equipped and outfitted with exceptional lighting and renovation to an old building. Thoroughly modernized and very comfortable. Mauter Villa team was extremely responsive and helpful. As seasoned travellers, we have never received such a generous and tasty welcome basket which we thoroughly enjoyed and which introduced us to the delights of Menorca. My only complaint about this particular rental is that it lacks a view but we knew that going in and very few old city homes have one.

Another wonderful stay in Ciutadella in the most fantastic accommodation!

The position Sa Font is ideal to experience all that Ciutadella has to offer, whilst being situated in a quite and delightful street. The accommodation is clean and modern. The internal design of the house retains the charm of Menorca, whilst being modern and comfortable. Air-conditioning throughout the building keeps the living space very comfortable - even in the hottest weather. We will definitely return very soon. A more modern and larger safe would be helpful to store belongings. This is not a reflection of the security of the area (we always feel safe and welcome). It is just a reflection of the need to store valuables when travelling.
