Beachside community of Lakeside, this stunning cottage,designed and owned by Revive Home Restoration, embodies the relaxing charm of 3rd coast living. Having been featured in Inspired Living Magazine, Revive is best known for seamlessly marrying original architectural details with modern day living. The result is a beautiful vintage cottage reimagined to offer the very best in entertaining, special getaways, and everything in-between.

The cottage offers fully updated kitchen and baths, wide plank hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, beautiful light-filled spaces, french doors throughout, separate family room and living/dining room, as well as in-unit laundry. Perfectly furnished rooms combine cottage chic with modern amenities. A beautiful wood burning fireplace will keep you warm on chilly nights. Lush outdoor gardens and three separate decks provide the ultimate in outdoor gathering and secluded relaxation. The home offers plenty of private spaces for those needing to "work from home".

The master bedroom allows for separation and privacy from the rest of your guests. Brand new bath directly off master features large walk-in shower and double vanity with carerra marble top. Two additional large bedrooms and adjoining room accommodates sleeping arrangements for up to six additional guests and is served by a second bath with tub/shower combination and double vanity.

The private association beach with plenty of lakefront is just two short blocks. Enjoy your feet in the sand while watching Michigan's incredible sunsets, or curl up with a cup of hot coco by the fire in the winter. Conveniently located just minutes from New Buffalo and a short walk to Lakeside restaurants and boutique shops, you'll find the very best of the Harbor Country coastline including: vineyards, breweries, restaurants, boating and shopping.

Additional amenities include Wi-Fi/smart TV, outdoor gas grill, outdoor shower, beach chairs, bath towels, bath toiletries, paper and laundry/cleaning products, central A/C and heating. All linens are provided with the exception of beach towels.

Strict cleanliness standards apply, as always, but particularly now during COVID-19. That being said, we ask that guests adhere to the scheduled check-out time to allow for the substantial cleaning process between guests.

The perfect cottage for our group of 4 adults and 2 young children. The cottage is comfortable and feels roomy, and the garden is charming with several areas to relax. It's just a few minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

I was born on Long Island, NY and spent many a summer on the North Shore of the island, including Montauk Point. Imagine my joy when I found the Hamptons of the Midwest just 75 minutes from Chicago! Beautiful beaches. Great dining. Romantic evenings. Long sunsets. Peace. Quiet. Perfection.
And so began the story of creating the most amazing storybook cottage and the ideal place to enjoy the easy breezy life Harbor Country offers. I am thrilled to offer you that same experience.

Why they chose this property

To me, the house is the intersection of all the places I love. . . a little bit of New Orleans, Key West, and Long Island. The front porch surrounded by lush greenery and flowers is reminiscent of a Tennessee Williams play. And that is what drew me here first. . That moody front porch I spotted from the road. Serendipitously, It happened to be for sale. To me it was the quintessential summer cottage. At the time, the property contained two small vintage cottages. I joined them a year later, updated...well everything, and added a large kitchen/family room addition.

What makes this property unique

I love everything about this house. The hydrangeas that greet your when you drive up, the rooms filled with light that make you wonder if you are inside or out...the vaulted beamed ceilings in almost every room that provide the most airy experience. The private deck that is the most awesome room in the house. I am truly a lover of beautiful things and wanted a place to house them all. I hope my home reflects that. Oh and did I mention how awesome it is to watch a thunderstorm roll in from the beach?? The best entertainment ever:-)
