Amazing stay in the middle of the woods

The old mill is beautifully renovated with all the amenities needed for a very relaxing stay. The pool was always clean and when we had small problems with the lights the host came right away and took care of it. It's right next to a creek which is perfect for a quick bath in the morning. Elisabetta is the best host and the area around the house very beautiful. We would always come back.

Wow. It was even better than we imagined and hoped for. The location of the Mill is unparalleled - from the winding lane that gets you there, to the mountain stream and the charming rope bridge across it. The Mill itself is ancient and has been sensitively updated to ensure that you have all the facilities you need without losing the sense of history. The pizza oven and outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying fabulous food in the dappled shade. Try the restaurant in Sillico too - the terrace looks out over mountains to the sunset!

Natuurlijk!

The mill house was everything we wanted it to be - remote, quiet and beautifully authentic. Well equipped with everything we needed for a large group of nine of us. The children especially loved the pool area and we enjoyed the shaded outdoor eating area with BBQ and pizza oven There are walks straight from the door and the river creates a wonderful backdrop to the mill, with icy cold water to refresh tired feet after a long walk. The drive into Sillico is along an off road track which took 12 minutes to reach the village - Fine as long as you have an SUV. Elisabetta is a wonderful host and escorted us to the house on our first day to ensure we found our way there as well as giving us a guided tour of the mill. We would definitely return, especially in June again when the glow worms create a magical spectacle.

Wandern in Kastanienwäldern

Natur pur - Erholung garantiert!

Peaceful holiday

If you are looking for a perfect and peaceful holiday, then do not look any further, this is the place : no network, no wifi and a real reconnection to nature listening to the only sound of the river near by. The mill and the location are absolutely awesome, very authentic, well renovated and furnished, right in the heart of green Tuscany. Walking in the forest (magnificent) and in the river, making your own pizza, looking for mushrooms, and just relaxing. The drive way can be a little scary, it will seem to take you to the end of the world, but once you have done it you are just 15min away from the nearest village, and a little bit more from Pieve. 45 min walks to the nearest village through the forest, amazing! A secret location to keep! Elisabetta is a great host.

Natur pur - beste Erholung
