I’m honestly confused by the positive reviews. My friends and I booked this place for a weekend in Lisbon because it looked nice and well-priced, but the experience was disappointing from the start. When we arrived, the main door to the building was cracked open, which immediately felt unsafe. We then had to call the host multiple times before he answered and unlocked the apartment door.The stairs leading up to the apartment were extremely narrow and poorly maintained. Once inside, there was a very strong sewer-gas smell throughout the entire apartment. On top of that, the apartment looked nothing like the photos online. It did not appear clean, the beds were sloppily made and had visible hair in them, which is completely unacceptable.We left immediately and requested a refund. The host claimed he sent people over who said they smelled nothing, and VRBO denied the refund because I couldn’t “prove” the smell with photos, which is obviously impossible.Maybe this place was better when the older reviews were written, but that was not our experience at all. I would not recommend staying here.

BED BUGS! don’t go there

My partner had Stitches all over his body after the first night from bed bugs, we are very sure about it because we saw one and the stitches are very typically in a row. We informed the person who let us in about it, he pretended to hear this the first time and that the agency will contact me about this. It seemed like a standard mail the sent me, poison control etc. when asking them what we would do about the situation now as we had to wash all our clothes, buy a new suitcase etc. etc. they just did not answer anymore. Furthermore we saw a cockroach, the apartment smelled very bad and was not clean. it’s in the second floor and the stairs to get up there a dangerously broken.

Appartement bien placé, il ne faut pas qu'il soit plus chère sinon autant choisir l'hôtel. Remontée d'égout très désagréable parfois. Communication contradictoire de l'hôte sortie 11h au lieu de 12h et annulation d'une nuit sur 3 prevues

Just as described!

Our stay here was very good! It is definitely a small apartment as we knew going in, but it was perfect for my husband and I along with our 7 year old daughter. It gave us a place to sleep at night after exploring Lisbon all day. It was only a couple blocks from the metro which made it easy to get anywhere, but we also had no problem walking everywhere as well. It was clean and host was easy to communicate with!

Wounderful time in Lisboa!

We stayed 4 nights at this appartement and the communication with Eliso worked out very well. The appartement is close to the city center and very quiet during the night and day! We're definitly coming back!

Pequeño pero muy comodo, ideal para mi familia (eramos 3). El piso estaba muy bien situado para llegar en cuestión pocos minutos al centro. La vivienda parecia muy antigua, especialmente las empinadas y estrechas escaleras, pero esta totalmente reformada, sin ruidos y con una temperatura agradable. El dueño de la vivienda llego media hora tarde sobre la hora fijada para hacernos entrega de las llaves, aún así pudimos acceder a la vivienda ya que nos abrió la chica de la limpieza la cual era guapísima, muy agradable y nos indico un sitio estupendo y muy tipico donde comer.
