City Center - In the heart of old Lisbon (Castle/Alfama)

Just renovated 2nd floor flat in City Center, beside St George’s castle, in a traditional house among local people where you can fully enjoy the flavour of the city. Same owners as 1st floor whose feedback please see.
Description:

Well situated in the heart of old Lisbon, City Center district of Castelo and Alfama, near the Santa Luzia viewpoint (Sun Doors), and next to the Church of The Infant Jesus and beside the castle of St George. Were you can live like a Local and feel the best Lisbon can give.

We will be there to give you the keys, and tourist information when you arrive.

We will do our best to make sure that your stay in Lisbon is truly memorable and with out having to worry about your accommodation.

Information about the apartment:

A cozy, just renovated south-facing flat on the second floor. The stairs are steep as normal for a 300-year-old Lisbon city. The flat is fully equipped and appropriately decorated.

The apartment has a living room with a big double sofa-bed .
There are two bedrooms with double beds - sheets and towels are provided.
There is one bathroom with a shower.
The kitchen equipment is new.

Included in the rent are:-
Wi-Fi internet, Cable TV with international channels
Sheets, towels, etc

Transport: Thirty metres from buses and trams(12,28), Subway 600 metres away (Martim Moniz Station)
Restaurants, supermarkets and shopping nearby.

The flat is normally available from 3pm on the day of arrival until 11am on the leaving date

PS: Late Check-in that 21:00 (9 PM). Check-in after this time is subject to confirmation and has an extra 25 euros payable on arrival.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. It was central, clean, and appropriate for 2 to 4 travelers with two people sharing each room.Travelers must be aware that the stairs are extremely steep going up to the third floor apartment in Alfama.

Lovely apartment in the center of many tourist treasures! Everything you could want and next door to the best breakfast in Lisbon at The Folks. Our only caveat is if you are old and go to bed early and aren’t someone who can get back to sleep easily with some very loud garbage collecting on the weekends, cuddle up in the small bedroom away from the street.

A great apartment with lots of space and only a ten minute downhill walk to the closest metro. We loved how close it was to many different miraduoros. And we're super appreciative that the hosts let us store our bags at their shop well before check-in time.

Carolina was the best hostess! She gave us such thoughtful recommendations for restaurants and even went out of her way to call and make reservations for us, which made everything so easy.She also arranged a tuk-tuk tour with one of the coolest guides we’ve ever met—he truly made our experience in Lisbon unforgettable.The place itself was very clean, cute, and surprisingly spacious. We felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire stay. Highly recommend!

Great Location

Communication with the host Carlota was excellent. She met us at the property and gave us a great review of the apartment and the city. The location was perfect. Walk to all of the sights and restaurants. Definitely recommend Fabiola and Antonio's apartment for anyone visiting Lisbon.

Fantastic apartment and location

We stayed in this lovely apartment from April 26 to May 1..the location is amazing, walking to all the neighborhoods and attractions and restaurants . Our favourite and possibly one of the best meals we have ever had was at 28 restaurante, just a 5 minute walk from the apartment.The apartment is so cute and met all of our family of 5 needs . Communication with Antione and Fabiola was great. Totally recommend this lovely apartment.

Good location

We enjoyed our stay, it was a great location, easy access to everything, including Ubers. Apt was clean and felt safe. Only minor issue was bathroom smell but it seems to be a common theme with a lot of lisbon apts..that being said I still recommend due to the other pros.

We have spent a fantastic holiday in this house. It is beautiful, newly renovated and with everything you may need. It is located near the city town in a very quiet area with all services. Antonio and Fabiola, the owners, treated us very well. We will come back!! 100% recommended .

Apartment was nice, no complaints! Just a word of caution to those who cannot do stairs, there are many!! However, it is not strictly the apartment, Lisbon in general has many ups & downs and stairs, so if you are physically challenged this may not be the right pace for you.

Lovely Apartment

Our stay was for 3 months. And, the owner, Antonio, was the kindest and most considerate of landlords. Carlota, who met us was efficient and extremely helpful. There was not much that was negative about this experience, but the area, we found was much too busy with tourists, for what we like, but it was bustling and besides being careful of pick-pockets (which are everywhere in Alfama), it was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this apartment. It had a real stove, and the bathroom was bigger than most Alfama Apartments, so we were happy!

Nice location in Alfama close to several attractions. Lot’s of space for a couple and even for a family. The weak electric capacity was something we did not know when doing the reservation. When checking in we were informed about the limited use of electric devices at the same time. For instance we couldn’t use the both heaters which were available.
