This place was lovely. Location was great. A good vibe at night but nothing that kept us up (unless we chose to stay out!) The terrace out back was much larger than expected. We would highly recommend.

The apartment was spotless and just as pictured. Our host, Joao, was there to greet us and show us everything we needed to know. He even had a wonderful bottle of local wine for us. He left excellent suggests for places close by to eat. We would highly recommend this apartment in the perfect location of old Lisbon.

Joao was an amazing host and went above and beyond in making us welcome from the moment we got to Lisbon. He even went out of his way to share his favourite Restaurants and wines to try! We were lucky enough to stay a month in this apartment and really felt at home! The apartment has everything you want and need to make you comfortable and to enjoy your stay. It was very clean and had nice modern decor. We loved the location especially being able to walk to many sights and restaurants. We hope to be able to visit Lisbon again and without a doubt will try and stay here again!

Fabulous apartment in a wonderful location. Communication with the host was excellent making check in & out very quick & easy. Apartment kitchen was very well equipped and opened to a lovely terrace. Loved our stay and the host was great! Everything worked and was clean. The apartment and kitchen were fully stocked with everything we needed. Loved the terrace space! Excellent location. Yes it’s on the second floor and there are stairs, we had luggage and it wasn’t a problem for us. The club music was very loud a few nights, but it’s a loud city. Highly recommended! Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous apartment and host

Apartment was exactly as described impeccably clean stylish and in the heart of Barrio Alto loads of local good bars and restaurants and perfect location to explore Lisbon. Joao is a wonderful host has thought of everything and the terrace was beautiful shape we couldn’t make the most of it due to some rainy weather.

This apartment was perfect for our five day stay in Lisbon. It was close to lots of places to eat or go have a drink. Getting to the metro or trolley or bus was easy. Host meet us at arrival and was super helpful. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom and shower are great. We enjoyed the CDs and player for some fun music. Various small grocery stores are nearby to get food and nespresso coffee pods. We used the washing machine (tip: bring laundry sheets/pods) and drying rack.The Bairro Alto neighborhood is fun and lively. We could often hear music from nearby restaurants. We were there Friday to Wed and the only night that was really loud was Saturday. But, we had enjoyed a night out so falling asleep was no problem for us!

Perfect Location for Lisbon

Great place, clear instructions, Juao is a great host. Know two things: Fri, Sat, and Sun will be noisy, there is a restaurant bar downstairs, but excellent soundproofing keeps out most of the noise; and the stairs are steep for those less abled. Otherwise excellent.
