Charming apartment in the most charming neighbourhood of Madrid, La Latina (Old Town/Habsburgs), a few minutes away from the Royal Palace, Cathedral and Plaza Mayor.

The space

The apartment is on the 4th floor WITH LIFT of an architecturally interesting building (declared as such by the town hall of Madrid), overlooking southest, so the house is very sunny and bright. We’ve put a lot of energy in making it a cozy home where you can feel at home from the very first moment.

There is a double bed in the bedroom (queen size 150 cm wide) and a confortable sofa bed for other 2 people (140 cm wide) in the living room.

Guest access

The apartment is composed by:

* A living room with stylish decoration. Spacious sofa and 32”TV, A/C, dining table that fits comfortably 4 people and 2 balconies with lots of light

* Kitchen is semi-open plan to the living room (communicated through a window) and fully equipped with anything you need to cook and eat, including the stove, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and refrigerator.

* 1 Bedroom with a super comfy double bed accompanied by their bedside tables and lamps and separate wardrobe.

* A spacious bathroom with a nice and comfortable bath tub and lots of natural light.

* Wi-Fi is also available during your stay, how not ;)

* Baby cot available under request, 20€/stay and 10€ for high chair. Of course, fresh linen and towels are provided, as well as iron, etc. One set of hand towel and shower towel per person per stay up to 7 nights will be provided. If more are required, there will be a charge of 10 euros per set.

No smoking in the apartment. In case of smoking, we will charge €100 as penalty.

If you think there is something missing, we'll be happy to have your feedback in order to continue improving the apartment.

** IMPORTANT** : In compliance with current regulations, it is required to sign a seasonal lease agreement prior to arrival and inform of the cause of your stay in Madrid (work, remote work, health treatments, relocations, works at home, etc). We do not accept stays with touristy or vacational scope.

Incredible location

This flat is incredibly located in a safe and clean area - 2 blocks from the Royal Palace and Cathedral and Opera Metro station & a 10 minute walk to the Plaza Mayor. Very clean and spacious with grocers and a market nearby. Excellent communication with the owners who are really responsive. Check in was flawless. We would stay here again.

Nice apartment in a quiet neighborhood two blocks from the Royal Palace. Many restaurants nearby and walking distance to Plaza Mayor. Must have data on your phone to open the app that opens the front door of the building and the apartment door. Has washing machine and drying rack. TV is not a smart TV, so bring an HDMI Apple Lightning Digital AV adapter and HDMI male to male cable or a stick to watch Netflix, etc. Right next to a small restaurant and another bigger restaurant is across the street.

Great place to stay in Madrid

We loved staying at the apartment. It's clean, spacious for 2 people, in a quiet building, and conveniently close to well known (e.g. Royal Palace) and less appreciated (e.g Casa de Campo) places. Communication with the owners was easy and timely (and they let us leave our bags in the apartment earlier). Thanks!

Great communication, wonderful location.

We had some difficulty with sending payment but the communication from the property was excellent. Our host arranged for transportation and met us upon arrival. Very welcoming and gave us a lot of information. This property best feature is its location.

The apartment is amazing. Location is better than excellent! So easy to walk to everything Communication is fantastic. Owners are very quick with responses if needed for anything. My phone service from the US had issues with the digital key, but one email to owners and that was fixed. Highly recommend!

Great Madrid location

The apartment was great for our stay in Madrid. It was located on a quieter street and was a 5-10 minute walk from the La Latina subway stop. It was also a 5-10 min walk to the Cathedral and Royal Palace. There is an elevator in the building but you access the elevator and unit by short flights of stairs. There is also a steep stair to get into the building. The property manager was always available for questions and gave very detailed instructions for living in the space. We enjoyed our stay here.

I had to cancel shortly before my stay due to a medical issue. They were very nice and helpful and agreed to cancel my stay. Communication before my intended stay was very good. I have given them 5 stars for everything because it is required to leave a review.

Great stay in Madrid!

Madrid was the last stop on our first trip to Spain. The apartment was exactly what we expected. Great location- close to sites and markets. Kitchen is spacious enough for 2 to prepare meals. Beautiful walk to city center, and close to transportation. Pros: Super clean Enough room for 3 adults Great location on quiet street Plenty of hot water Full size refrigerator and freezer Comfortable beds Minor issue resolved quickly Things to consider: Giant step at front of building Stairs both ways to elevator. Tough with mobility issues, glad to have someone to help. Dishwasher didn’t work well, ended up hand washing dishes. Not a big deal. We definitely recommend this apartment and would stay again. Thank you!

Entry Issue

Great location. The apartment is a bit dated but that didn't detract from our enjoyment of the stay. The issue I have is with the entry system. Not all travellers of a certain age have roaming Wifi, which was a necessity for the access. We usually rely on Wifi at the property or in cafes etc, but without having been warned in advance we were obliged to switch on our Roaming (at a cost) in order to use the entry system. In addition, the system failed on one occasion causing us to call the agent for them to unlock the external door remotely...................not great if it should happen at 11pm. The agent's team were excellent by the way.

The place itself is lovely, clean, and at a very good location. The check-in wasn't smoot. Since our arrival was a little after the office hour, we called 30 minutes before we got there and called again when we got there as instructed. The second time we called the one who answered phone somehow couldn't find our reservation. We were on the phone for about 30 minute in 90 degree whether after a long day before he finally found our reservation. The messenger who was supposed to deliver the key apparently arrived on time but was made to wait too. He showed up right after our reservation was found and was very polite and helpful. I hope the check-in process is simpler.

Spacious apartment in good location

The apartment was in a good location, and was well-appointed. Both the main bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable. The kitchen was certainly good enough for a short stay. The shower was effective. There was lots of storage off of the bedroom if needed. Overall a nice spacious and light apartment. Location-wise, it's a short walk to the bars and restaurants of La Latina in one direction, and to the Royal Palace and parks in the other. We needed to call the helpline because of an issue with a lamp, which caused a fuse to trip, but they dealt with it promptly. I think the only reservation I would have is that you have to open the external door to the apartment building via an internet link, which is a bit of a faff. I would prefer a normal key which is quicker and saves having to stand outside the building fumbling with your phone. However, that was a relatively minor consideration, and overall we were happy with the place.

Het appartement is groot en ruim. Airco is echt een must met 38* in Madrid en werkte uitstekend. De ruime dressing aan de slaapkamer is zeer aangenaam en handig om kleding en andere zaken op te bergen. De aanwezigheid van een vaatwasser en wasmachine maakte ons verblijf gemakkelijk. De locatie is voortreffelijk: gelegen in een van de leukste en gezelligste wijken van Madrid en toch dichtbij highlights als plaza mayor. Om de hoek bevindt zich een mega gezellig pleintje waar we verschillende keren heel lekker gingen eten.

Très bonne expérience Madrilène

L'appartement est idéalement situé dans le quartier de la Latina. Propre et bien équipé, L'appartement a tout le charme de l'ancien. La clé numérique n'a pas fonctionné maïs la hot line a été d'une efficacité remarquable. Je recommande cette location.
