An old but quaint beamed property on three floors. Very comfortable and central to shops, cafes and the beach. I booked it but all of my guests were happy with the property, if not the weather, and would gladly come back for another visit.

A wonderful stay at a wonderful cottage. Parking is a little bit of a struggle but there are enough places to park overnight within walking distance. The house couldn't be more centrally located with easy access in less than a minute to all the shops and bars in the town. My bed was very comfortable and the room stayed cool despite the nights being warmer. Mike was very helpful with a full guide being sent after payment confirmation and there's a folder in the house with walks and other attractions. There's also a comprehensive bookshelf with lots of maps of the local area. Very happy with the stay and will book again.

We always have an enjoyable time here. The new log burner is very good and Mike always replies promptly with queries. The cottage is very central to all the restaurants, bars and beach in Barmouth so is perfect for a short or longer break.

Lovely cottage in a great location

We had a lovely stay, not our first visit, nor will it be our last, the cottage is as described and we really enjoy our time there, right in the centre of thinks but hidden away so really quiet too.

Booking process quick and easy, communication with owner good, location perfect, just be aware of lack of nearby car park places, had to park 5 minutes walk away so not a problem. Beautiful beach a few minutes walk away. Cottage fine, and historically interesting

Love it needs modernisation but for our experience I loved it would go again and would really say great .

Thank you. Modernisation would destroy a lot of the charactor people like. After all, it has full gas CH, all kitchen mod cons, washing machine. And an genuine ingle nook with a log burner. There is a constant programme of decoration and improvements - bathroom, while adequate, is rather tired now.
