Fantastic

We had a fantastic time here - the place is close to the city, but a perfect place to be away from all the tourists. The scenery is beautiful, the hosts were great.

A Lovely Stay

The apartment is a perfect hideaway for excursions in Chianti as well as quick trips into Florence (there is a convenient tram not too far away). Julian and Ana are outstanding hosts. I very much recommend the place.

Landlig idyl nær Firenze

My wife and I stayed at Julian and Annas place for 6 nights end April, and enjoyed it very much due to the beautiful hills with olive trees and vines, the Roe deers every morning and Julian and Anna who are very kind and helpful hosts that loved to tell us about the area. The "flat" is a charming rural place that has still an old athmosphere though modernized with all we needed incl. a well equipped kitchen. If you want to stay in the countryside, though close to Florence, with grand views and nice hosts this is the place

Troels and Kirsten are delightful guests to have; nature lovers and appreciative of our Tuscan surroundings.! These are ideal guests to have for any host who has a cottage in the countryside... Troels is a very keen birdwatcher and Kirsten is a most charming person.!

A hidden gem, fabulous hosts

We had a lovely stay at Podere Vigliano Vecchio in Scandicci, Tuscany outside of Florence. We stayed in La Stalla(the stable). What a delightful experience! The suite is ancient but very comfortable, better than we had envisioned it. It was nice to be able to get out of the noise of the city at night and sit in the gardens. Julian and Anna were the most memorable hosts and gave us lots of information on the area and how to travel around it. They were also very helpful with locating our lost luggage and waiting around for it to be delivered, so we could go into Florence and sightsee. We would definitely stay with them again. It was exactly as described in the listing right down to the long gravel road you have to travel to get into the property. Thank you for being there for us Anna and Julian.

Kim and Dean are a wonderful couple, so easy to get on with and always so positive, even though they were without their suitcases throughout their stay.! I can highly recommend them to all hosts for having left the flat in perfect order, for their charming ways and for their enthusiasm for everything ! We look forward to having them again.. 😀..!

Dear Erik, We enjoyed having you and thank you for your appreciative comments. However, I hope you do realise that coming here without a means of transport is problematic, as stated in the description. Best wishes and hope to have you staying again..! Julian & Anna

Response from VrboOwner on 28 Mar 2020
