When our family goes on vacation, we invest a lot of time looking for the right 'home away from home', where our children, family & friends will have a great time. We look for a place where we feel comfortable and safe, where the children have a lot of space to play, and where we adults can enjoy a private pool and some outdoor grilling.

We fell in love with Marco Island the very first time we visited, and purchased our home "Tigertail Palms" in 2016. It is located on a side street, very private and quiet. A unique aspect of this property is its proximity to the Marco beach - it is just a short walk, or quick bicycle ride, to the beach. If you prefer to drive to the beach, we are less than a 2 minute drive.

Our home has 2100 square feet of air-conditioned, flexible living space comprising of three bedrooms. It has been renovated from top to bottom with a new kitchen and baths, new indoor and outdoor furnishings and a heated pool. Both adult and child bikes can be easily rented locally, making travel around the island a breeze!

We would love to share our home with you! You will find all the comfort, privacy and amenities you desire. Rest up in the living room on the sofa, relax in one of the cozy lounge chairs reading a book, or be entertained by the flat screen TV's with cable, movies on demand and other internet entertainment. The home has wide floor to ceiling glass doors that can be opened, bringing the outdoor feeling to the inside.

The kitchen is a delight for any chef or hobby cook. It features granite counters and quality appliances. Dining can be inside or outside. Within the enclosed patio, you can also take advantage of the gas grill and enjoy a view of the pool while dining.

The master bedroom is furnished with a large king size mattress bed, and high quality sheets for a good night’s sleep. It has a large built in closet and a modern en-suite bathroom with a double sink, bath tub, and an oversized shower stall. It also features a large flat screen TV.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed with a built in closet, flat screen TV, and access to the guest bathroom. The third guest room has twin beds, and a flat screen TV. The den has a sofa bed which provides additional, flexible sleeping space when needed. Each bedroom is equipped with WIFI, and flat screen TV's were installed in each bedroom earlier this year.

A great variety of private outdoor experiences can be found - you can choose to relax on the patio loungers, splash in the pool, or play games while sitting in the comfortable outdoor seating area. Outdoor dining with a grill in the corner is just steps away. The heated pool is ideal for having tons of fun with all of your family and friends.

Additionally our home has a two-car garage. We also provide beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, and water toys should you wish to visit the nearby beach.

Tigertail Palms is an oasis of tranquility within the quaint island city. It is located with easy access to all shopping, dining and attraction areas of Marco Island. At the Tigertail beach access you will find a fantastic children’s playground if the children wish to burn off some additional energy.

Within 3 minutes drive of our home you will find Marco Island Golf Club, Tennis Club, Adventure Mini Golf, stores (Publix, Winn Dixie), restaurants, and boating & fishing opportunities. The main road out of Marco Island leads you directly to the Everglades where you can explore nature by visiting an alligator farm or by going on a breathtaking airboat ride.
