About this property

Three block walk to beach, private pool, designer home

Our home at 165 Beachcomber Street is a quick two to three block walk (750 paces) from beautiful Crescent beach. We provide a beach cart, beach chairs, cooler and towels for your convenience. Our home features an open floor plan with kitchen, dining area, and living/media room. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a brand new mattress and bedding. It also includes an attached bath, walk-in closet and direct access to lanai. The guest bedrooms, queen and twin, are located on the opposite side of the house and share a freshly renovated bathroom. Our newly constructed pool was added in November of 2014. We have a no smoking and no pet policy. House is installed with high speed wireless internet. Simply step into our home and surround yourself with paradise.

Great long weekend in Marco!

We enjoyed our stay in Marco! Perfect weather and very relaxing stay. Great neighborhood! Easy to walk to the beach and restaurants. The house was perfect for us with our kids and grandson. Easy to communicate with home owner!

A Slice of Paradise

My wife and my daughters had a fantastic time staying at this house. We loved biking everywhere, the restaurants, the beaches, the mangrove trees and tours, the private pool, and so much more. This house was perfect, and we didn't have to buy lots of beach stuff that we never get to take home. This place had the chairs, umbrellas, coolers, wagon AND bikes! Would we stay here again, without a doubt!

Great hosts!

Great and swift from communication from the hosts. House worked great for our family. Lots of towels, lots of beach items and cart to drag them to the beach which is about 5-10 min walk with kids. Pool is great and mosquito nets over the entire outdoor soace keep you protected from bugs. Kitchen had everything we needed Overall great place to stay!

Perfect location!

This house was perfect for our family of 6 and it provided everything we needed for our stay. The pool and patio were a fantastic place to hang out and play games at night and by opening the family room sliding glass doors we doubled our space! Best of all is the location that allowed us to walk or bike to restaurants, shops, the grocery store and most importantly the beach! We've been coming to Marco for more than 30 years and this is one of our favorite rentals!

Great Beach Retreat

Great home and location! Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Close to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed walking to the beach everyday. It's about a 3 block walk, but we like walking. :) The beach has amazing shells, if you or your kids like collecting sea shells. The house provides a lot of options for your day at the beach (umbrella, chairs, coolers, beach toys, and a beach wagon to hold everything).

We had a very positive experience even though we traveled at a difficult time. Ed was extremely responsive to any issues we had. We would definitely stay again! Only suggestion- kids’ mattresses weren’t very comfortable for our children so they ended up on the couches a few nights, which were very comfy!

Awesome vacation and rental!

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at Four Palms for the month of March (2018). We thoroughly enjoyed Marco Island and the house. The location is 'best on the island' if you don't want to stay in a condo. The house has all you need and is nicely updated and 'beachy furnished'. Love the pool and Ted was a wonderful host. We had grandparents, parents and two college daughters come visit. Everyone enjoyed the amenities at the house and around the house. Lots of beach/pool toys if you have little ones. Enjoyed the bikes too!! We love Marco Island and would recommend this house!

Pool and Beach, what more could you need?

The night we arrived at Marco Island, it was late and we were tired. However, we were completely uplifted when we drove into this quiet and lovely neighborhood; and then welcomed into this beautiful house. We immediately took advantage of the pool which refreshed our spirits tremendously. The house was so clean and inviting. And the day it rained - no problem, we just sat on the covered, screened in lanai and enjoyed it! We appreciated how the bedrooms were situated by having the second/third bedrooms and bath closed off with a privacy door. The walk to the beach each day was easy and well worth it to see such beautiful scenery.

We had such a wonderful stay in Marco Island! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, welcoming, and exactly as described (if not better!). The home had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation: comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of space for our family to unwind.The location was perfect, very close to beaches, restaurants, and little hidden gems around the island. We especially loved Doreens Cup of Joe, the sunset views, wagon, and beach gear provided. It truly felt like a home away from home.Communication with our host was excellent. They are very friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay.We left feeling refreshed and full of happy memories and gorgeous pictures. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Marco Island, FL getaway!

Great Family Getaway

Went to Marco Island with the family for a quick four-night vacation. The property was in a great location, near the beaches, and central to all we wanted to do (e.g. restaurants, excursions, etc.). The check-in process was simple and the property was ready when we arrived. It was nice having access to a pool and the necessities of going to the beach. Just had to sweep down some spider webs in the pool area when we used it everyday, but nothing that stopped us from enjoying the stay. We would definitely recommend this house for a stay again!

Stellar Stay

Beautiful, yet comfortable home in the perfect location. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Walking distance to the expansive white sandy beach. Gorgeous sunsets.Walk or ride the bikes provided to near by restaurants, shopping, entertainment. The lanai and sparkling clean pool are exceptional.Ted and Leila have thought of everything you may need for your beach vacation- ample beach towels, beach cart, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, sand toys and beach reads.Hosts responded to all questions about the area and the property promptly. Provided many excellent suggestions.Was our first visit to Marco Island and this home. Won’t be our last.

Pool and location to the ocean were great. We were unable to cook on stovetop due to something coming down on stove from fan. Not sure if it was sand, metal fragments or something else but we decided it was unsafe. House was in pretty good shape but is in need of a little updating and tender loving care.
