This property was absolutely stunning, and the cabin exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay somewhere with amazing private views, while also being so close to Telluride!
We chose to stay because my boys wanted to be able to fish. Unfortunately, the pond wasn’t stocked and full of algae, which led to more driving to fishing than I had hoped. We loved the sauna and the house was cozy with beautiful views.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The views were amazing, and we had a fun time exploring with the kids and our dog! Thanks for sharing your house with us.
Wonderful home if you want to get away from it all, relax and enjoy breathtaking views, and even great hiking right at the home. Plenty of firewood, great communication
We loved our stay in Placerville. We wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Telluride as we had our dog with us and wanted to give him space to run around, but be close enough to enjoy Telluride and this was the perfect place to do that. The property was clean and comfortable and the perfect retreat for our family and friends.
Beautiful property, excellent secluded location. We had a lovely weekend "away from it all". We would highly recommend this property, it's just as advertised and we had a very comfortable stay.
Me and my partner stayed a few days with our 2 dogs (rottie mix and pyrenees mix), and couldnt have asked for a more pleasant setting. We spent our mornings and evenings on the deck, listening to and watching to the birds, as well as the deer/elk that came down to the
Had a great time at the property and exploring nearby towns! The house is beautiful and secluded. Only complaint was that the cleaners showed up at 8 am when checkout was at 10 am.
A wonderful stay at an extraordinary property! The hosts were excellent to communicate with. The drive up to the property is so beautiful and the property is unique and experience driven.
This cabin was a lovely place to stay—secluded and very peaceful. The abundance of wildlife, including deer and wild turkeys, was a welcome surprise. A perfect spot to get away from it all.
As always we are enchanted with this special cabin! We love the serene, remoteness that creates such a relaxing stay! Thank you to Charles for sharing this fantastic oasis with again and many more to come!!
We loved this cabin and the property. The view is amazing and loved seeing deers, chipmunks, wild turkeys, bunnies and hearing the elk in the distance. Would love to return someday.
This property had everything we needed for young kids. The location is excellent with gorgeous views, wildflowers everywhere, and lots of wildlife. We saw 4 deer, chipmunks, hummingbirds, and a turkey on the property over 3 days. East to get to Telluride and Ouray from the house.
Our stay was wonderful and the cabin was perfect. Just far enough from Telluride to be isolated; however, close enough for a short beautiful drive. The only thing to mention is the online listing did not mention the $100.00 extra fee for a pet. I would definitely stay there again!
The views right from the deck were even better than we imagined. Just a beautiful area, very priviate, and with several unique features and places to sit and hang out (teepee, greenhouse). We've stayed all over Colorado with our dogs and highly recommend this property.
This is the third time we have stayed here and it did not disappoint. The property is amazing if you want beautiful views and a quiet and tranquil environment. The home is well stocked with what you need for cooking and relaxing. We enjoyed the sauna and hiking around the property. A herd of sheep come to visit to drink from the pond everyday and we have seen deer and eagles! Close to Telluride for a nice day trip or skiing in the winter. Can't wait to return!
We had a wonderful stay. So quiet and relaxing. The views are beautiful from every angle but especially from the deck of the mountains and pond. Wildlife everywhere. All within a short driving distance to Telluride.
We felt like we were on top of the mountain. We enjoyed the sheep coming through to get a drink at the pond. We happen to be there when it was a full moon. That was really fun. Also can’t wait to go back. Would stay there in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for a pleasant vacation we were in paradise.
This was our second time at the property, and it did not disappoint. We stayed during a huge snowstorm that shut down much of Telluride, but being snowed in for a bit was our favorite part, with gorgeous views of the storm as we cozied up next to the fire, and trudged out through the snow into the sauna with our bathing suits on. It was another perfect vacation for us here, and we can’t wait to come back again soon.
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Having such a large property for the dogs to explore was awesome and they really enjoyed it as well. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the Spring/Summer when you can explore the whole property and fish in the pond. We will be back. Thanks!
Beautiful property, in middle of nowhere but close to Telluride. We visited in winter, snow on ground and frozen pond. Our dog loved it. First morning there we were visited by a herd of elk on the other side of the pond. Would love to visit again in the summertime. Host Charles couldn't be any better.
