What a fantastic place to holiday. We felt very special being in the grounds of Appuldurcombe House. Being 81 the only problem (only me) was having to climb the 19 stairs to use the bathroom. Unfortunately on our fifth night at 3.30am I had to get an ambulance for my 43 years old grandson who then spent the next two and half days in hospital. I fully recommend booking this property as it is outstanding and the owners so very nice. Loved Tuppence their little dog.

Lovely sized property with rooms as shown on website. Good range of kitchen equipment. Comfy living room furniture.Wifi quality variable.Loads of cobwebs, hallway and landing paintwork dirty, Carpets badly stained and under the beds jolly dusty.Lovely grounds to walk aroundFor a dog-friendly place surprised there was no dog-bowl.Would have prefered toilet paper in both bathrooms to a bottle of fizzy wine!Hard to get cold water out of the kitchen tap (presume the hot & cold pipes are too close together)
