Perfect Beach Location. 2 Bedroom, Sleeps 4, Beautifully Furnished.
This is the perfect place to have your holiday. Just metres from the beautiful sandy beaches and calm waters of the Mar Menor, The apartment has been furnished to the highest standards giving you luxury and location all in one, What more could you ask for!
The apartment, located on the ground floor,has 2 good sized bedrooms with a terrace leading off the main bedroom. With comfortable garden furniture, you can enjoy chilling out on the terrace with a glass of vino and watch the world go by. There are speakers so that you can play your ipod or mp3, English TV system with lots of channels and the apartment also has WiFi too.
The lounge /diner is both modern and comfortable and leads onto a second terrace, perfect for Al fresco dining and watching the sunset.
The complex has 24hr security and there is also an underground car park with your own allocated space for you to use during your stay.
The apartment is air conditioned for your comfort, and no expense has been spared in making this feel like home from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher and washing machine so if you decide to dine in, then you wont need to wash up!!
Our apartment is ideal for families of all ages or couples alike, the beautiful pool has a child's area and is just a stones throw from our front door. Enjoy lazing by the pool or walk through the garden and you are right on the palm tree lined prom. Enjoy a leisurely walk, day or night, along the prom and stop at one of the many beach bars to sample Tapas, fresh sardines or just a drink and enjoy the fabulous views across the Mar Menor.
Our 'local' is just a few meters away called Spinosa's. As its a chill out and kite surfing bar, there is no better place to sit and watch the world go by and enjoy some fabulous food and chill out music. If you fancy a go at kite surfing or windsurfing, you can have a go as they offer lessons. The food at Spinosa's is lovely and in the evening they open the roof terrace and you can watch the beautiful sunset and enjoy a mojito or two!
The prom is also perfect for a gentle bike ride, you can go as far as Los Alcazares old town, lots of people do it.
Los Alcazares has some of the best beaches in the Murcian region, many of them have been awarded 'Blue Flag Status' from the Spanish Tourist board based on their cleanliness, safety and atmosphere. The Los Alcazares side of Mar Menor beaches stretches from Los Alcázares to San Javier and San Pedro del Pinatar. With a surface area of nearly 170km², a coastal length of 70km, and warm and clear water no more than 7 m in depth, it is 'the largest swimming pool in the world', in the opinion of famous swimmer and Hollywood actress Esther Williams. Los Alcazares is a well known maritime resort for families from Murcia and Cartagena on the weekends.
Los Alcazares has various/ several golf courses in close proximity. Roda Golf (18 holes) is a great course, La Serena Golf, The five star Intercontinental Mar Menor Golf and Spa resort, and the five star La Manga Club are both championship venues and five star resorts/ courses within a short distance from the Los Alcazares. The region is a well-known golf destination due to its warm winter climate and variety of golf courses in the area. Courses are open year round. Most of the courses have some form of Bermuda grass mixtures and are very well kept all year round.

There are also 2 markets in Los Alcazares, a Saturday market which is just 5 minutes walk from the apartment. You can buy anything from fresh fruit and veg to clothes, paintings and kitchenware. The other market is on a Tuesday in Los Alcazares Old Town.

My name is Jo Newman. I first came to Spain in 2003 and bought a holiday home near Playa Flamenca. We used to holiday here and also rent it out to help pay for the upkeep. We loved it so much we moved here in 2005. I work in a bank in the local area. I work in the Los Alcazares area and decided to buy the apartment near Spinosa for family & friends to enjoy!
Why they chose this property
This property is a fantastic all year round apartment due to its location. In the summer the sun is high enough so that you can get some outside shade. In the winter the sun is lower and you can sit and sunbathe on the outside terraces.
What makes this property unique
Its very unusual to get a property so close to the sea. You can walk or cycle all down the sea front completely at your own pace. A great place for a relaxing holiday and a good base to go an explore local towns and cities.
