Lauris is a charming village in the Luberon still typical with its castle perched on a cliff 200 m above sea level, the Durance below, the Ste Victoire mountain and the Alpilles on the horizon.
It is also the start of beautiful hikes in the middle of olive trees, oaks, vineyards (around the house) on the ridges or along the Durance.
You will discover amazing villages nearby: Lourmarin, Ansouis, Cucurron ... Bonnieux and the cedar forest and further north, Apt, Roussillon, Gordes.
All summer in this region rich in cultural heritage, you can participate in many events:
The Roque d'Anthéron festival at 15 minutes, the international festival of lyric art in Aix en Provence (30 minutes), the theater festival of Avignon ....

Nice villa in a quiet area

Good villa in a quiet area. Property was clean and tidy. Very good communication from the owners, who were very helpful when we arrived. The kitchen in the property is fully equipped, far more than most properties. Quiet location at the edge of Lauris. We would stay here again.

Pure relaxation and real privacy

Already in advance, the communication with the owner Philippe was very good and friendly. On arrival, everything was shown to us and all questions were answered. The cosy house presented itself in a very good condition, and our holiday could start right away. The kitchen left nothing to be desired in terms of equipment. In all areas of the house, storage space was cleared for us, which we were very happy about, because in other holiday homes we often found less storage space. Also worth mentioning is the quality of the lighting, which is both bright enough and tasteful - we have already experienced this differently. We felt comfortable everywhere on the huge property with the great planting: on the sofa inside and the sofa on the porch, at the pool and at the boules court with the hammock and the many other seating. Many thanks to Brigitte and Philippe for making their house available to us. It was a very nice holiday.

Herrliche Villa auf außergewöhnlich großem Grundstück. Netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter im Vorfeld und umfassende Einweisung bei Ankunft. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet und ideal für einen entspannten Urlaub. Zentrale Lage im Luberon mit vielen sehenswerten Orten in der näheren Umgebung. Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Un petit coin de paradis...

Jolie propriété pour de belles vacances en famille à Lauris

Nous rentrons d’un très bon séjour de 2 semaines au « Méou » à Lauris - 3 adultes, 1 ado 17 ans et 1 enfant de 5 ans Charmant accueil des propriétaires, Mr et Mme Boisard , avec d’excellentes recommandations sur des activités / resto du coin. Magnifique vue pour cette maison de plein pied très agréable à vivre avec toutes les commodités pour passer de bonnes vacances ( linges de maison en quantité, machine à laver, plancha, terrasse, TV, Wifi+, terrain de pétanque, table Ping Pong, grande piscine...) Très belle piscine dans un jardin spacieux, bien fleuri et très calme (propriété proche des vignes et de la nature à environ 2km du centre avec tous les commerces essentiels). Connaissant assez bien cette région, nous recommandons Lauris et cette propriété pour découvrir le Sud du Luberon. Pour résumer, des prestations conformes avec l’annonce, un lieu propice au repos et à la détente en famille ! MERCI 👍😊

Séjour très agréable dans le Lubéron

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison du Méou. La maison est très bien équipée, la piscine propre et grande permet de nager et de bien s'amuser avec des enfants, le terrain est immense. Les propriétaires sont accueillants, disponibles pour des informations et très chaleureux. petit pus, le lit extérieur qui permet de se reposer l'après midi et de s’évader le soir...

Lovely spacious villa, facilities excellent.

So pleased to have found this villa. Philippe and Brigitte were so helpful and on hand if needed. Well equipped and homely. Air-con in bedrooms a bonus as it was very hot during our stay. The location was wonderful; surrounded by mountains. Excellent pool which was well maintained every few days. Children enjoyed playing table tennis and petanque. We all love this place.
