Relax on the front porch and watch the ocean as you enjoy the live music playing daily at Ocean Annie's . This condo features two bedrooms two full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with new stove,dishwasher, coffee maker, dishes, utensils and cookware. Complimentary WiFi and Flat screen TV with DVD player included. Coin operated laundry facility open 24 hours is located on the first floor. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool and picnic area located between building 1 and 2 featuring brand new grills.

A Place at the Beach III is a short driving distance from Tanger Outlets and several golf courses. Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing are great places for the entire family to spend the day shopping and dining at several of their great restaurants. Both are a ten minute drive from this beautiful condo.

Perfect place to stay

This is a nice little place. Out the door, down the steps and you're right on the beach. The back of Ocean Annie's beach Bar is facing the belcony, so you can listen to the different bands all day and evening or just a few steps away you can go over to the bar. There is no elevator but wasn't too much of a problem. The Host is very pleasant. All in all I will go there again.

This was the second time my family and I have stayed here and once again it did not disappoint.

Manager is very responsive and respectful has everything lined out in checklist form and always available. Everything you would need for a household is set up and clean and reasy to go. beautiful ocean view and bonus over looking Ocean Annies where they play live music every evening until 11pm so you can sit on tje balcony and watch the sun go down vibing to to great cover bands. Perfect location eating and shops and 8 min from Walmart. This is an Ideal family vacation destination. I see us once again being back in the future.

This condo is a diamond in the rough. The owner was awesome to deal with. Returned calls swift and remedied the problem. The building is under renovation but once finished will be even better. The condo needs updating, but my father in law felt right at home. Its clean and location,location, location. Definitely will be back when the need arises. Thanks!

DRAB Condo

This property is unfit for renting. Part of the ceiling is falling down. The patio door blinds are broken and missing slats. There is mold in several places, especially the main bathroom. Mice are plentiful. Roaches as well. Most metal surfaces are rusted and/or corroded. The kitchen table is delaminating, and 2 of the chairs are cracked. The floors are dirty enough that you have to wear shoes at all times or your socks or bare feet will turn black. The appliances are corroded. The microwave grinds loudly while running. The light fixture over the sink is rusted. The shower fixtures are dirty and corroded. The toilet seats are wooden and stained underneath. The bathroom shelves and light fixtures are rusted and corroded. The door and cabinet hinges are rusted and corroded. The entry locks have no keypad entry, so the keys have to be handed off a lot. I'm not a germ expert, but my experience tells me that staying there is a risk to ones health.

Property was purchased in 1995 by Jim and Mary Sue Van Houtte as a second home. They both enjoyed the ocean front condo until the unfortunate passing of James Van Houtte in 2001. Mary Sue has successfully rented the two bedroom condo to family and friends over the past 15 + year and wants to continue to provide a wonderful place for families to come and enjoy what she and her family have enjoyed.

Why they chose this property

The beach is a short walk from the front door and to Ocean Annie's Ocean Bar. Many of our past guests say that the main reason they come back to stay is because of the live entertainment provided by Ocean Annie's. Live music daily and great drink specials. If you would like a quick bite to eat but do not want to drive the River City Cafe is located within the Sands Ocean Club providing the Grand Strand with the best burgers.
