This is a bright and spacious, south facing apartment with a terrace enjoying stunning sea views and benefits from the sun morning till night and all year round. It also has the benefit of a private garage, which would be ideal if you are on a cycling holiday, plenty of space for bikes plus a car.
Situated on a well-maintained community, this beautiful apartment has a large open-plan lounge/ diner with two sofas, TV and DVD player plus also benefits from free 600mb fibre optic Wi-Fi, with aircon. Sliding doors lead you from the lounge onto the very spacious private terrace with fabulous views across the meditterranean. The large terrace is a great sun-trap and has ample space for dining alfresco with large table (awning is available to shield from the sun if required), plus the added benefit of a luxurious two-seater sofa and two armchairs and two sun loungers. The south facing terrace has sun throughout the year and is ideal for winter stays. There is a well-fitted separate kitchen with breakfast bar plus all the appliances from home – washing machine, fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave, kettle etc. The spacious master bedroom has sliding glass doors leading onto the terrace, a kingsize bed with aircon, an ensuite bathroom (bath/shower), safe & hair dryer. The second bedroom is a twin room also with aircon, and an adjacent family bathroom with shower. The complex also has two communal pools to choose from.
This apartment is in a great elevated location, situated on the 3rd floor (no lift). Mojacar Playa is just 300m via a private gated pathway (pink path) from golden sandy beaches, cafes and restaurants. There is also a bus that runs every 30 minutes along the Playa, costing a mere €1.20 per journey. It is ideally situated for those who want the convenience of amenities and the beach close at hand but also want peace and relaxation. The sea at this end of the Playa (unlike further down where it drops away rapidly) is ideal for children, being only waist deep all the way out to the end of the Quay.

The apartment is south facing, so you have a full day of sunshine, however it does get windy sometimes, meaning you can't use the awning to create any shade. If you are not up to climbing 3 flights of stairs with your luggage or shopping, this apartment is not for you, as there is no elevator. The garage is also quite challenging to get into as it is located on top of a steep incline. There is however the possibility to park outdoors on a lower level (also quite a climb to get from there to the apartment, same route will get you to the beach). The owner is very nice and responds super quick to any questions. Overall we had a nice stay.

We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the stunning views from the terrace. Unfortunately, weather conditions are beyond our control, and it was indeed quite windy during your stay.
This an apartment with the view, south facing so great for all sun lovers.The beach is about 10 minute walk away and 25minutes back - what a climb! The apartment is very clean and spacious and great for exploring mojacar by car or bus.We stayed for 4 weeks between September and October and the weather was very hot even when it rained loved it.Would absolutely recommend Julie as a host and the property for a stay - enjoy.
Very spacious apartment, fitted out very well. Located close to the beach, with restaurants & bars not too far a walk away. The terrace is a very good size and the views are outstanding. It’s also located in a quiet area. Julie has been really helpful and the checking in instruction made things very easy. One of the best apartments I’ve stayed in. No hesitation in recommending

We chose to have a family holiday here to coincide with a big birthday (my 60th) and so the apartment needed to be everything we had hoped, based on the description given.
We were not disappointed!
The apartment offers everything a family could want for and is very well situated, well away from the busier clubs and bars at the northern end of sea front. The beach is a short walk down the hill and was never over crowded or too busy when we stayed in August and the complex pool is literally next to the apartment and can be seen from the large sun terrace.
Everything in the apartment worked as it should and the air conditioning was especially welcome for our our peak of the summer heat stay.
We opted not to rent a car but relied on private transfers to and from the airport and public transport getting around the local area. The bus service is frequent and cheap (just 1.20 euros to the Lidl store in Garrucha) and it stops at the bottom of the hill at the Puerto Marina Hotel. I'm aware that being car-less is not suitable for everyone though as, although it's quite pleasant walking down to the beach or bars and local shops, walking back up the hill, especially when its hot, does require a degree of fitness. However, a taxi to bring you back up to the apartment block is always an option.
The views from the apartment are spectacular with some stunning sunrises over the sea in the morning followed by lovely views of the moon reflecting on the Mediterranean at night.
Another review has mentioned the steps up the entrance of the apartment - yes there are 52 of them but as the apartment is built into the hillside there's really no getting away from them. Just take your time and enjoy the views on the way up :-)
Finally, would I stay here again? Yes - I certainly would .

Die liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung war für 4 Wochen im November unser zu Hause.
Alle Zimmer und die großzügige Terrasse haben einen fantastischen Meerblick.
Morgens gegen 8 Uhr wird man von der aufgehenden Sonne geweckt und kann prima auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Den zweiten Kaffe trinkt man gemütlich in den Lounge-Möbeln. Wenn dann der Zeitpunkt kommt, den Strand zu besuchen oder zu anderen Unternehmungen aufzubrechen, tut es einem fast Leid die Wohnung zu verlassen.
Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Möbel im Wohnzimmer und die Betten sind bequem und die Gastgeberin Julie ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen lieben Dank noch einmal an dieser Stelle für den netten Kontakt.
Hemos estado alojados mi mujer, mi hijo y yo la semana del 21 al 28 de agosto. El apartamento está impecable, todo nuevo y bien cuidado, con una limpieza exquisita. La comunicación con la propietaria a través de la aplicación es excelente. El balcón que tiene el apartamento es espectacular. La única pega es que es una tercera planta y hay que subir y bajar bastantes escaleras, así que para personas con problemas de movilidad no es aconsejable.
Superbe appartement bien agencé. La terrasse est magnifique avec une superbe vue. Pour aller à la plage soyez sportif. Entre 300 et 400 m. Pour descendre pas de problème mais pour remonter vous allez faire travailler vos mollets. Pour les commerces prévoyez la voiture. La plage la plus près est superbe, pas de monde et l’eau très chaude. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans cet appartement

Location was out of town so a car is essential but the plus side is the view .
Fab apartment with everything g you need for a pleasant stay. Communication with the host was good and we were able to check in early. Would recommend to definitely hire a car as it’s quite a hill and then steps up to the apartment. Would definitely stay again. 😊
Lo mejor son las vistas y la estupenda terraza, lo recordaré siempre. Fueron nuestras primeras vacaciones en familia con nuestro bebé. El apartamento está limpio y tiene muchas comodidades. La comunicación con el propietario ha sido fluida. Lo peor quizá sea lo estricto de los horarios de entrada y salida y las escaleras. La experiencia general es muy buena. Recomendable

Gracias por tu reseña. Desafortunadamente, el día de su salida había invitados que se registraron el mismo día, por lo que es esencial una salida a las 10 a.m. Los meses de verano están muy ocupados, normalmente los huéspedes pueden acomodarse pero no en esta ocasión, y no se solicitó salida tardía.
Lovely Appartment had everything you needed. So clean and comfy and Julie was great.
We were arriving late so Julie went out of her way to leave us some bread, coffee, water, milk and other essential bits till we could get to the supermarket. Great location not too far to the beach and bars/restaurants would definitely go back 👍👍first class
This is 2nd time to stay in this property and would happily return again in the future. Everything just works for this property/location and our stay was so relaxing. This property does exactly what it says on the tin. Owner very helpful and at end of phone if needed but happy to say not needed during our stay. Great Holiday

Why they chose this property
I fell in love with this apartment, as soon as I stepped onto the very large terrace, the stunning sea views are breathtaking.
What makes this property unique
It is situated on the Southern end of the Mojacar Playa and benefits from being quieter and more relaxed. It still benefits from being only 300m from the sea, as well as the restaurants, and beach bars. There is a family run supermarket about 1.5k away which sells English products as well as Spanish, and bakes bread which is delicious!
