Walk through the gate to picture the beautiful ocean and river at your finger tips! Mother Nature abounds at this small rustic home complete with large new redwood deck, remodeled bathroom to include a claw foot tub and walk in shower. There is a cozy TV room complete with lazy boy recliner’s and big screen TV with many channels and NFL ticket for the football fans. There is a boat house at rivers edge with kayaks and canoe to head up rive to see the river otters, seal, and birds of all kinds even our resident eagles! Paddle across the river and walk the beach never getting into your car. There is a new fire pit to enjoy day or night with wood provided. There is a Weber grill and gas grill for your culinary needs. Sit back and just relax with your book on the deck, from bed or out by the fire pit. Birds abound here and any number of woodland and river creatures. Enjoy.

This was an amazing property to spend the week at. Great location! The views were spectacular. Kayaking on the river was a real treat. The host has great communication and made the whole experience a breeze! The home was well equipped for everything we could have wanted! We can't wait to go back!

This VRBO is amazing!! Such a beautiful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the busy world around us. Great home, amazing views, and the property, river, and beach are BEAUTIFUL. The kayaks really make this place special as you adventure around and can kayak back home to a restful cabin for relaxation afterwards. Will be booking again .

Location, location, location! This Ocean View retreat is exactly what we needed to recharge and relax. There are different views from every aspect of the property with its multiple decks and firepit area. It’s only a short drive to the dog friendly beach, and you can literally kayak (provided by host) to the ocean or across the river to explore the dunes. The house is a bit quirky but has a new tv room, remodeled bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchen. The all glass room with the bed was great for napping but not really conducive for a third guest, unless you want to get up at dawn, because there are no curtains. Overall, the house would not be suitable for toddlers as it is not child proofed and the spacing between the deck rails is too large for their safety.We had adults only and really enjoyed our stay!

We had the absolute best time at this amazing Fort Bragg cottage! Honestly, the views are unreal. Sitting out on the deck with a morning coffee or watching the sunset was definitely the highlight of our trip.The location couldn't be better. It is so peaceful and quiet, yet super close to everything. We loved being able to walk right out the door to beautiful beaches and coastal trails, while still being just a quick drive into town to grab food or explore.Our hosts were wonderful and truly made us feel right at home. They were so welcoming. The cottage itself was spotless, super cozy, and had everything we could possibly need.We completely fell in love with this place and already want to vacation here again! If you are heading to the coast, do yourself a favor and book this spot.

It’s a great location and views. Bonfire was fun, and we walked over the bridge to ten mile beach. My only criticism would be that there were ants everywhere. We were cleaning them off counters, furniture and even in the bed. Bring your own water too. But it was a fun little place to stay in overall!

wonderful retreat!!

wonderful place for a retreat and recharge, rustic, secluded and beautiful yard, basically your own botanical garden with ocean veiw. Kayaking to an empty beach and enjoying the fire pit were highlights.. just a beautiful slice of coastal heaven..
