Excellent walking and cycling from the doorstep on the C2C cycle route. There is also a play area and playing field opposite. Keswick, 4 miles. You can cycle or walk to Keswick via the old railway line; there is also a frequent bus service. Keswick Golf Club ½ mile from the village. This is a perfect village for a good base for activites or ideal for that ’get away from it all’ holiday. Shop 4 miles, 2 pubs 500 metres.
