Girls getaway & walk for Alzheimer’s

Four of us shared this lovely cottage,well equipped & very tastefully decorated, just wished the sun had come out 🌞 Pooley Bridge was a lovely little village with great pubs & shops , hope to return

Absolutely beautiful cottage.

Absolutely beautiful cottage. Outstanding value. Plenty space for us 5 adults. We all felt at peace. And very well rested. When we arrived Dave greeted us. He had lit the wood burner and had festive tunes on the tv. Christmas 🎄 was beautiful and all the extra trimmings. Bottle of bubbles 🫧 🍾 in the fridge. Very well equipped kitchen with sparkling 🥂. Beds were amazingly comfortable and their decor in rooms. Beautiful wall papers. Log store outside £5 a basket very reasonable. The local village has 3 pub restaurants. Beautiful village. Penrith is a short drive away. Also full of history. I was loving the dates above the houses. We are planning are next visit with family all ready.

Absolutely perfect winter retreat.

Absolutely perfect winter retreat. Luxury cottage. More impressive in person than the photos show. Five minutes from lovely pooley bridge and you can see Ullswater glistening in the distance from the garden. We went over Christmas and the owners put up the most lovely tree and garland to decorated the living room. No complaints at all. We would easily go back. Just a short walk from Pooley Bridge itself with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants for all tastes. House was absolutely beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. Will definitely be coming back for another stay.

Beautifully situated within well kept grounds, private garden space to relax. House was clean and decluttered with hand sanitiser provided. Garden Cottage was a wonderful place to stay for our family get together.

Garden Cottage was a wonderful place to stay for our family get together. The living room is amazing, loads of space and a wood burning stove. Good selection of pots and pans, which is often limited in holiday cottages. The attic single bedroom is very cute and cosy, the perfect hideaway from the rest of the family! Great location, a 15 minute walk along the river from the village.

A beautifully presented cottage situated in the hidden gem that is North Lakes. We had a brilliant stay in this roomy bungalow, after being warmly welcomed by the owner. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the living room and admiring the traditional features of the house. We struggled to dry wet clothes due to the house being quite cool and there being no way to turn the heating on. Neither of the showers were very powerful.

Cannot praise this cottage enough.

Cannot praise this cottage enough. Definitely home from home. We arrived to a lovely warm cottage, bedrooms beautiful, lovely spacious cosy lounge, fully equipped kitchen, we took extra pans and utensils but were not needed. Easy walking to Pooley Bridge and the lake. Will definitely stay here again, loved it.
