It features two bedrooms, two baths, fully-equipped kitchen, large, bright sunroom, laundry and covered parking. This quiet getaway can comfortably sleep 6 with one queen bed and two full beds. Three miles from I-64, this cottage is minutes from Bluegrass Airport. Whether you are visiting the bluegrass area for a special event or for interesting sites and relaxation, this location is great.

Quiet, cozy, beautiful little place in gorgeous Kentucky. The hosts were wonderful with communications, and stepped up to help when we had a medical emergency. House was cozy enough for a 2 person getaway, but also ample room for a family or group. I hope to go back one day for a nice getaway

Convenient Location & Beautiful Cottage

Clean, comfortable, and quiet! Perfect little touches throughout the cottage, and beautiful gardens around the property. Nice location for visiting distilleries and nearby sites! Look forward to visiting in the future and would stay at this property again!

Wonderful weekend getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It was very clean and well stocked. We were in the area for a wedding at Merefield Farms and this was the perfect location with only being 10 minutes away! We will definitely stay again whenever we are in the Lexington area!

Fabulous house and location.

We come to Lexington 3 or 4 times a year and frequent the Midway area. This house was exactly what we needed to find and will be back. The decor is very tasteful and fun. Very clean and hosts were very nice. Felt at home.

Clean, cute, and cozy cottage

What a sweet place to stay! The hosts were accommodating, the house was clean and offered all sorts of amenities. Beds were comfortable and the location was very convenient to Midway and Lexington. We visit the Kentucky Horse Park often and plan to stay here again when we do. Thank you for sharing your property.

Wonderful cottage-home comforts

Wonderful! Very relaxing atmosphere. Cottage is beautifully decorated and has a warm feel about it. It was easy to arrive and be comfortable instantly. Situated across from a horse farm and you could hear chickens in the distance, but quiet most of the time. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect weekend getaway

We loved our weekend getaway! We were traveling for our twin daughters birthday and a concert in the area. The home was clean and inviting. Beds were comfortable, everything was well stocked. John and Carol were the perfect hosts, quick responses to every question, they were kind enough to leave smores supplies and a local drink for our family. Though we didn't get to utilize the firepit due to wind, we were able to make them inside and enjoy family movie and game night. We will definitely return next time we will be in the area.

Cozy Cottage near the University of Kentucky

We would like to thank the Wards for sharing their space with us this weekend. It was simply perfect in every way! The Wards thought, in advance, of every need that a guest might have. We appreciated having the comforts of home. Family weekend at UK was worry-free knowing we had a cozy spot to hang out in once we left the football game and campus activities! It's located about 18 minutes from UK, but the drive through beautiful horse country is well worth the commute!

The perfect place to relax.

We are retired and wanted a comfortable place close to town, but away from noise and bustle. We found it! This house has super comfortable beds, great bathrooms with four-star hotel towels. The kitchen is kitted out with everything you need and was spic and span. The living room has everything you need for a lazy rainy day: comfy sofas, puzzles, games, books… and yes, great tv reception and Wi-Fi. The town of Midway is just up the road, with shops and restaurants, and railroad tracks right down the middle of the street. The hosts, Carol and John are the best! Friendly, caring but never pushy. We stayed a week and can’t wait to go back.

Nice place. One problem

The cottage was in a nice neighborhood and was clean throughout. The covered parking would be a bonus, if it is raining. On the second night of our stay, the hot water seemed to be getting cool. Upon awaking very early the next morning, there was no hot water. We did not contact the owner because of the early hour and we had to leave. That was the only disappointing part of our stay.

Yes the outside of the home is average .. however the inside is very cute!! Beds are comfy as well as the plush towels. Water and milk in the fridge was an added touch and much appreciated! The only thing that made the place a bit off point was hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor... as well as trash on the bedroom floor. Also.. the hot water was way less than hot.. lukewarm at best. Cute place..just a few things that would keep me from coming back.

Cottage Near Midway / Versailles

My family rented the cottage for a weekend at Keeneland. We could not have been more pleased from the moment we arrived. Carol greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us a tour of the newly remodeled 2 bedroom cottage. There is a huge kitchen that we did not utilize this trip but it was fully equiped and large enough to make a nice meal if needed. The bedrooms were a very nice size with one queen and two full beds along with two futons in the den area. All the linens were 5 star hotel quality. Very nicely decorated and very comfortable to host guests if needed. We had several people over and utilzed the games that are supplied and available for use. We visited serveal shopping and dining options that are nearby. Wallace Station is within walking distance and has a great selection for breakfast and lunch. Earlier in October they also have a live band...we missed that but look forward to taking advantage of that during one of our future visits. The drive to and from the cottage is breathtaking. The horse farms line Old Frankfort Pike and the views are like no other. We woke up each day to a view of beautiful trees and horses across the street at Lanes End Farm. This cottage is minutes away from Midway, Versailles and Keeneland. We visited Wallace Station, took a tour of a local horse farm, toured Woodford reserve and went to the Rebecca Ruth Candy Store that has been in business since 1964. We loved everything about this location and cottage. After an eventful weekend with lots of family and fun we ended our night sitting around the camp fire enjoying s'mores that Carol provided. Thank you Carol. It could not have been better from our perspective. Your hospitality was above and beyond our expectations. The Hillard-Treon Clan... from West Palm Beach, Florida, Knoxville, Tennessee, Noblesville, IN and Columbus, OH.

Peaceful retreat in horse country

Annual visit for KY 3Day Event and fortunate to have found such a cozy gem to call home during our visit! This property is located in lush horse country and a short drive to a few small towns and the Horse Park. Accommodations were very comfortable and sparkling clean. Bonus that we got to meet Carol on our way out. She's delightful. We'll be back!

Great Location

Stayed here for 9 nights while my daughter showed her horse at the Kentucky Horse Park. The house was clean and well stocked with coffee, towels and blankets. Carol and John were great hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute stay in horse country

The house was very cute and comfortable. We had the basics as needed in the apartment. The beds and linen made for a good night sleep. Having 2 full bathrooms was great. The drive from Lexington was so scenic. Definitely check out Wallace Station Deli right down the road. I would recommend this place to others traveling to the area.
