About this property

Dog friendly cottage, town centre, close to the beach, WI-FI & parking included.

Our property is a well equipped comfortable old fisherman's cottage which is situated in the heart of Filey's town centre, with a short walk to all Filey's many shops, bars and restaurants.

We are a very dog friendly cottage where you can walk your dog's on the beach which is only a few minutes walk.

The cottage has free Wi-Fi and consists of 2 bedrooms, first bedroom has 1 x double and the second bedroom has a 2 single beds.
The lounge has 3 x two seater sofa's, flat-screen TV and Sky TV, DVD player and a log burning effect electric fire.
Also downstairs offers a separate dining room, and a fully functional separate modern kitchen.

We have a walled garden to the rear, where your dogs will be safe.

IMPORTANT NOT: We have a parking space a couple of minutes walk away from the cottage for 1 small car. You also have the option to park on the roadside for free.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When you have booked, you will be able to download your welcome guide from your Vrbo account 3 days before your stay, this will also give you the cottage key code and parking code.

Was easy to find ,managed to get parking spot everyday,was like home from home ,was great to just walk into filey ,good for exploring other places ,would highly recommend,and stay again.

Great property and good value for money. Central location so quick access to beach. We couldn't park in the parking space due to how others had parked . However, there is a long stay car park just across the road so we paid to park there instead. Will return at some point in future

This was a last minute booking having been let down. The host was so helpful, truly amazing! The house was exactly as described and very clean. Parking is available for a small car so we parked in nearby streets without too much difficulty

This is a great little property for a stay right in the town centre and a short walk to the beach. In fortunately my husband who booked this has mobility issues and found the two stairs outside the back porch very steep to climb and also there was a small step out the front door too. No fault of the property the fault lies with my husband who should have checked more carefully. Had to contact Louise the host a couple of times and she got back in touch immediately which was great. All in all a lovely house for anyone without mobility problems.

Excellent, central position near beach, shops and restaurants. Towels and bedding were spotlessly clean and kitchen was well equipped but there was no dishwasher or washing machine therfore I have given it 4 stars.

Lovely cottage great location

Lovely central cottage very close to an amazing beach and dog friendly too which is a bonus only issue was finding the car parking which was a bit unclear but plenty of parking at the side of the road

Great place, great location.

A great place to spend some time, well equipped, not far from the seaside, close to shops, pubs, restaurants with secure parking all you can ask for in Filey and a a bit more.

We are a hard working family who love nothing to unwind by visiting Filey and taking our dogs Marley and Doris for a walk on the beach. We have family in Filey and love to visit them as often as we possibly can. the kids love to body board in the warmer months. This is why we purchased in 2008.
We decided to rent out our cottage so that other dog walkers, couples and families can have the same enjoyment as we do.

Why they chose this property

This property appealed to us as it was near all amenities and the beach. It has been a long hard graft getting the property as we would like it. The property was old and needed a lot of modernization.

What makes this property unique

Near all shops, bars, restaurants, bus station, train station and of course the beach.
