The host was very attentive and communicated well. The condo served us well for 2 nights over Christmas. We love that we could walk to trailheads from the condo. We were traveling from Santa Fe to west Phoenix and it was a good stopping point along the way.

Came up for a couple of days before the July 4th weekend. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The view from the deck was great. There is a significant staircase to access the unit, and there is road noise from Hwy 260. With doors and windows closed, the noise is barely noticeable, and we had no problems sleeping.I have been to the area often and like the Bison Ridge area. Buffalo Bills (2 miles) and The House (Show Low) are good family- and dog-friendly restaurants. Plenty of things to do by car nearby but not much within walking distance. Note that if you come from the Phoenix or Tucson area, you may want to consider grocery shopping there and bringing the must-haves with you, especially during peak season.

This unit needs work. The carpet in bedroom was dirty. The bathroom floor had hair on it...many long black hairs.The grill was very greasy, coated with cheese and after we tried to burn it off, it didn't heat up very hot. The porch chairs and cushions needed replacing on both porches.Also, it should be made clear that in order to access the unit, you need to climb 18 stairs on the outside... difficult for some people. Also, if highway noise doesn't suit you, don't go there. It is very noisy.

We take every complaint very seriously, and have used a very highly rated cleaner for a long time. Though we are always very keen on continuously improving and will continue to do so, this one was very much after petty compensation. We offered the guests further cleaning and it turned into a negotiation of what compensation would make them happy. We value every guest and go above and beyond and tried to do the same in this case . However, despite giving them a fair courtesy refund, they never ceased complaining. Unfortunately, it was an experience where nothing would be satisfactory. Perhaps an attempt for a free stay?

We loved our stay here! it was beautifully decorated. the kitchen was well supplied and we loved having two bathrooms! It has a beautiful view and two patios with comfortable chairs. We will definitely be back!

The house was nice. We did not stay there during the day, only in the evenings. We were visiting a family member who was placed on hospice. We never tried anything in the kitchen. The owner communicates well. I give it **** due to the beds were not so comfy for our family. We loved the area.
