RiverWatch is located in the historic district of downtown Beaufort. Across the street from the Intracoastal Waterway. Directly across the street and to the right is the USC campus and Performing Arts Center. Suite A is a short walk-up, second floor unit that's beautifully decorated with a coastal beach theme. The private bedroom has a queen "cool touch" Tempur-Pedic mattress for your comfort. All linens are provided. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room with a 4 inch coiled mattress. The full bath has a shower and a tub combination. Your kitchen has an electric stove, dishwasher, medium refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, and coffee pot. There are also essentials for cooking and dining including coffee and tea. A washer and dryer are located on the first floor as well. This property is well equipped with wifi and a Smart television.

There are also two bicycles per unit for your peddling pleasure as well as a Hunting Island State Park beach pass for your free access. Directly in front of the entrance @701 Congress St are two parking spaces, one each for Units A & B. More parking is available behind the building. There is one boat or RV spot on the corner of Congress & Scott St. Please let us know if you are bringing a boat or an RV.

The apartment was very clean and the manager will go out of his way to help you with anything. It is in walking distance of the waterfront park and all the shops and restaurants. I loved my stay and will definitely book again.

The apartment is cozy, clean and in a great location. Enjoyed walking and exploring at the downtown Waterfront Park and Marina area. Walking on the beach at Hunting Island State Park was very pleasant! We also enjoyed food at Magnolia Cafe in the same building. The Heaven's Treasures Thrift Store nearby had great buys!

I am a long-term resident of Beaufort SC. I currently reside on St Helena Island, SC with my wife, Beverly, a former teacher. Our two daughters and two grandchildren also live here in Beautiful Beaufort by the Sea.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property in 1987 and renovated the entire building in 1997. The original building was built in the mid 1950's and has been upgraded several times. Suites A & B have always been long-term rentals and beginning in September 1, 2016 we upgraded and converted them to furnished short-term rentals.



What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this building because of the cool breezes, large magnolias and Spanish moss covered trees. The building is located in the historic district on Carteret St. at Bellamy Curve and has sweeping views of the Intercostal Waterway. There is reserved parking in front of the entry door but if by chance it is taken there is an abundance of available parking located behind the building..
