Our stay was enjoyable, the house was great, clean and comfortable. Just a walk across the street to a nice beach, walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and gift shops. I would stay there again or recommend it to anyone that asked.

Overall, the location and size of this space is fantastic. I was unhappy with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The walls/door “looked dingy and needs a paint job. The foot towel hanging on the shower looked filthy and the toilet brush/plunger was out and gross. That certainly affected my perception of the place, but if you need a basic place with a great location to town/beach access, I recommend.

We’re sorry to see this feedback, as cleanliness—particularly in the bathroom—is something we take very seriously, and this does not reflect the condition in which the property was prepared for this stay. We would also note that this review was left after we addressed an undisclosed dog that was brought to the property and barked extensively. We always welcome legitimate feedback from our guests, but felt that context was important for future guests reading this review.

We enjoyed our low key girls weekend together for sure! Apartment was spacious and stocked for a day at the beach with chairs and towels. It was good way to wind down and enjoy the end of a busy summer with dear friends! Carolyn was very helpful when a small bag was left behind. Highly recommend…..if you are brave enough to tackle the Cape traffic everything is a short drive away! We chose to stay and enjoy and there was plenty of room to get comfortable and relax!

We enjoyed our stay in Onset very much! The first floor unit was spacious with two outdoor areas which we enjoyed very much. On site parking and parking passes were a huge plus. The location to the beach and town couldn’t be beat. We only used our car once in four days. The area is great for walking, dining, hanging by the beach or any type of water sports. We had a wonderful trip and made lasting memories!

This is a really lovely spot, spacious common area (kitchen & living room), and nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, and a fabulous location across from the beach. We were in town for a wedding & rented two units in the building for extended family, which worked out really well. Everything was as pictured; note is that one bedroom is only accessed through the bathroom or another bedroom, but that was not a problem for us. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions before during & after. Highly recommend and would be happy to stay again!

This location and unit was so great!! We loved everything about it, the place was so spacious and well stocked. We loved that we could bring our dog, traveled with 4 teenagers who all had their own space. The accommodations were so perfect! Great deck to sit on at night, Marc Anthony’s pizzeria is right on sight in the same block- anything you need is within walking distance! Great ice cream place (Nana’s) Fried Dough was unbelievable at Marc Anthony’s! The beach was perfect- great area to walk our dog(no dogs on the beach though)- full kitchen as we made dinner and breakfast- everything needed to cook with is in that kitchen, a dishwasher and a small washer and dryer to wash the towels etc! Such a great set up for a perfect little vacation or to stay a week or two if that’s what you want! We loved the living room as it felt like home at night- and so much room to spread out! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet beach spot for a larger family with a dog! FYI most places in this area is cash only. But no worries- ATM’s are available. We absolutely LOVED our stay- and the host Carolyn was great! She is very responsive to any questions/ concerns. She really knows what people need while traveling! If I could give 10 stars -I would!!! Loved it so much!

Perfect Oceanside Getaway!

My 3 sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carolyn’s place. It’s spacious and so conveniently located right across from beautiful Onset Beach. We had a two hour delay getting in to the house, so Carolyn graciously offered to extend our check out time by 2 hours. We loved the village of Onset and enjoyed the local restaurants. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Great getaway

We were thrilled with our visit to Onset Beach. The house was delightfully pure New England, quaint, well appointed and in a marvelous area. Private and away from the chaos of the larger beach areas. Ample space for privacy yet enough family space for gathering. I hope to visit in warmer weather to take full advantage of all it has to offer thank you for sharing this property with us.

Had to go to the Cape for work, so decided to make an off-season weekend out of it. Traveled with 3 adults, two teens and our small dog. The Sailboat Suite was very spacious and lots of great character. Positive reviews all around from our group. We enjoyed checking out the local places - Park view diner, Marc Anthony’s, Glen cove restaurant, Nana's ice cream, Ryan’s amusements, basketball courts, the beach, and took a drive to the Sandwich boardwalk. It was nice that it was dog friendly too, our guy loved all the walks. The location was excellent, the back door of the house is directly across from the park and beach. The beach is very large, though the water is calm since it's a bay. I imagine it would be good for families with younger children in the summer. Only negative was the thin ceilings, could hear the 2nd floor tenants above us. Some slight upgrades to the suite in the future would be nice but again we enjoyed the charm of this historic home. Thank you!

Great time but beware

Everything was wonderful! Location, community, property and host. However, walls are thin, neighbors next to you and above you will hear everything.. Otherwise, excellent!

So sorry about that! There were especially noisy neighbors during your stay unfortunately- usually it's not an issue however another guest in a neighboring suite brought an infant when that isn't allowed.

Perfect Getaway

Had a perfect stay in the Sailor Suite over the holiday weekend. Came to town with 4 teenagers (a tough crowd) for a wedding and we were all very pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. So much space, huge kitchen, clean and comfortable. My bed was super comfortable, dare i say better than my own at home. Nice area of town, very walkable. Wished we could have stayed longer to explore. Would definitely book again. Thanks for neimg a great host, very responsive!

Onset Beach Stay

Check-in/out was very easy. Very much appreciated that the host had many items in the house for use to utilize. A few things that I would say need improved upon is updating to central air. It was a hot and humid weekend and that window units barely cooled down the condo. Second on the listing page it said the house had a grill, something of which it did not. Along with where the grill was supposed to be there was a table and chairs but we couldn’t use them since the cousins were moldy. It was partially my fault because I thought I remembered seeing two bathrooms but there was only one. Lastly curb appeal is everything. We loved how beachy it was and the decorations were a perfect fit for the house. We also liked having the chairs outside on the larger part of the deck to relax at night, only thing that would have made it better is if I didn’t have to see tall weeds in all of the seashells. The location was perfect. Loved that it was so close to the beach and Main Street of town.

It was an unusually weekend that this guest stayed, normally the window units are sufficient. We took the outdoor grill off the listing due to fire code requirements. Lastly we have someone who is supposed to be weeding often so there shouldn't have been any weeds around outside but will check on that!
