Spend New Year's week in the Smokies and enjoy the awesome Christmas decorations and spectacular shows.

Situated between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and adjacent to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Water Park is a beautiful resort that offers the peace and quiet of a mountain resort get-a-way while placing you minutes away from local activities, shows, and attractions. Discounted tickets are available through the resort.

This beautiful one bedroom unit accommodates 4 people. It has a king bed, queen sofa sleeper, fully equipped kitchen, shower with dual shower heads, sink, separate toilet area, and free in room Wi-Fi. There is an elevator for those not wanting to use stairs.

Onsite you will find a small convenience store, restaurant, snack bar, fitness center, arcade, playground, miniature golf, spa, 3 outdoor heated pools, hot tubs, and other activities. As a guest, you can enjoy Wild Bear Falls, a heated, indoor water park featuring a lazy river, water slides and hot tubs. 4 tickets are Included with the rental and are good for the entire week. There are numerous daily scheduled activities for all ages. Free transportation is provided within the resort.

The resort is located on the trolley line allowing you to travel to Gatlinburg for free. No need to find a parking space or pay lot rental fees.

This unit is ONLY AVAILABLE FROM Saturday, Dec 27 to Saturday, Jan 3, 2026. Rent includes all resort fees and free water park passes for the entire week.

Dogs are permitted, with the exception of aggressive breeds. There is a $150 non-refundable cleaning fee and a $150 refundable damage deposit. There is a limit of 2 dogs per unit with a combined weight under 60 pounds. Pet fees are payable directly to the resort at check-in and are not included in the rent.

Once total payment is received, I will contact the resort to let them know you will be checking in as my guest. I will need to give the resort your name, address, e-mail & phone number.

Good and bad.

The property manager was terrific; great communication and information about the area before and after arrival. What was lacking from the listing was info on the unit we got. It wasn’t a specific unit by an owner but just a specific floor plan located somewhere between several buildings, assigned by the front desk. The pictures posted were of a different unit. This particular unit had NO VIEW whatsoever unless you like seeing people in a parking lot. Really felt disheartened upon arrival but I guess I should have asked before paying. The unit was FILTHY. Floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in 20 years. Mattress had urine stains as well as comforter. Called front and they replaced both quickly. Prior dog damage to room. Other small things; ants in room, smoke detector started chirping and talking at 1AM ( fixed by staff), no concierge showed up to address issues at check-in, shower mold everywhere, hardly any parking available and no handicapped parking at my building. Good things; close to pool, water park tickets were included, resort was clean and workers were nice. It did the job for our week there but would definitely not stay there again.

Amazing Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and communication with the property owners was easy and quick. The check in process took about 40 mins, but most of that time was spent waiting in line because a lot of people were checking in. The only other issue was the connecting door between rooms did not stay shut and locked. We had to call maintenance up when we first got there to lock it and it ended up coming open when we opened the front door a few days later. Overall I give it a 9/10 and would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

We were very impressed with this resort. The people are very friendly and helpful. The accomodations are luxurious. There is such a variety of things to do - activities at the resort for all ages, the Smokies, shows, shopping, or just relaxing on the balcony with a cup of coffee enjoying the gorgeous scenery. It is an 8 hour drive from home which makes travel convenient - no flying, motels, etc. just to get there

What makes this property unique

We love to vacation here. The resort is on the trolley line which makes it convenient to go to Gatlinburg with no parking hassles. There are also many things to do at the resort itself. A schedule of events is provided.
