The property is definitely an older home but, I knew that going in having lived in Rock Hill. It’s split into 2 separate properties, upstairs and the main house. The separation between upstairs and the main house is thin and upstairs guests sound louder than what they really are. From the outside, the property needs the lawn mowed and bushes trimmed. The bushes scraped my car going in and out of the driveway. It’s also difficult to see pulling out of the driveway. The back of the property is somewhat overgrown and needs attention. The furniture in the property is nice to look at but it’s not comfortable to sit, relax and watch TV. The bedroom we slept in had a very uncomfortable bed that definitely could benefit from a mattress topper to soften the feel. The bathroom needs some attention. The toilet rocks, the curtain rod is not secure, falling on me while in the shower and the window above the shower needs cleaning around the sill and casing. Walking from the kitchen into the dining room, the floor is very soft, bordering on rotten and needing to be replaced. Overall, this is a property with tons of potential but it needs some work to get there.
We came to Rock Hill to visit our son. This property allowed us to host dinner for him and a guest at a convenient location. The kitchen was adequate for our needs; we appreciated that house was clean with extra added touches.
The property had all of the amenities that were needed for a basketball tournament stay and was centrally located to major roads, shopping, restaurants, sporting venue etc. The house is quaint which added to the charm and appeal. A bit of a musty smell when arrived but used air fresheners to resolve. The owners were very communicative, and easy to work with and would definitely use this property again if in the area. Photos are accurate and up to date.
Was in town for a couple of days and stayed at this charming home. We did have a few issues with lack of kitchen cooking pots and pans but the owners quickly fixed the problem. Overall, great experience.
We stayed March 31st through April 2.This property is a work in progress. The old house is charming. Once the kitchen is completed and the washer/dryer are serviced, it will make for a quaint stay.
Communication with the owner was very good. Response time for questions was almost instantaneous.
Loved the front porch swing. Convenient location to Winthrop Sports Complex. House is very much as described. It is an older home. There is an apartment upstairs, you can hear people moving around, so if you are a light sleeper this might be a problem, HVAC is loud as well. Other than that, kitchen stocked well, and beds were comfortable.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
Someone else already there
There was another party, a lady and her children, checked in to my accommodations when I came to check in. The owner would not answer my texts.
Very nice property. Nice rooms, very clean. Biggest complaint: 1) Incredibly bright lighting in the back yard could not be turned off, potentially affecting light sleepers. 2) The bathroom sink was consistently clogging each time we used it and there was nothing to clear it other than using the toilet plunger (which slung old water everywhere when we brought it up to sink level). Had to sanitize sink and surrounding area afterwards. Otherwise great overall experience for visiting an ailing family member.
