About this property

Pet Friendly Cottage on 10 fantastic acres

Newly built home on 10 acre hobby farm.
Fully fenced and secure garden area suitable for dogs.
Goats Chickens Shetland pony Geese and Ducks to enjoy. There is a large vegetable garden that supplies most of our food.
We also have a selection of fruit trees and bees to do the pollinating. If you want to try your luck at catching yabbies there are some nets for you to use just ask me for a few tips. Walk to Cecil Hoskins reserve and maybe spot a pelican or platypus. Go for a bike ride to Bowral along a dedicated bike path. After dark use your torch to go possum and rabbit spotting.

We are close to Moss Vale only 4km or Bowral 7km. Plenty of great places to eat plus wineries galleries and antique shops all close by. At night enjoy the fire with a glass of red wine. When available enjoy our garden produce and fresh eggs from Henrietta and Emily.
In November we should start to see some newly born baby goats playing in the paddocks really cute.

Suitable for children they can ride their bikes around the property in complete safety.

Property sleeps 4 in beds and there is a sofa bed in the living room for an extra person.

Allan and Jeanette were absolutely beautiful hosts. The place was spotless and extremely pet friendly. There was so much room for the pets to run around in a safe place. The fireplace on arrival was packed ready to start and had everything needed. Would highly recommend it and we will be returning. Thank you

Great location, perfect for the kids as the owners were so kind to let them explore the property and see all the animals. The house was very clean and had all the necessities available. The kids adored Timmy the dog and we look to come back again very soon.

Brilliant farm stay: a modern, well-equipped house on a lovely property that is well located but whisper-quiet. We really enjoyed the horses, Tim the dog, the lake, and interacting with the hosts over the Easter break. Thank you!

We couldn’t recommend Alan and Jeanette’s property more highly — it’s an absolute gem. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. When we arrived the temperature had dropped dramatically and it was freezing, so being able to light the combustion fire was perfect.I’m already missing Ruby and Spencer, the gorgeous Welsh Mountain ponies… and of course Tim the dog.We truly hope to be back soon. Thank you for such a fantastic stay.

Great Location, Great Host

Wonderful relaxing getaway

Had a wonderful recent stay with my husband, toddler and our dog. Everything was perfect, beautiful clean guest house with lots of animals for my daughter to see - she had an absolute blast. Alan and Jeanette were great, attentive hosts. Highly recommend!

Delightful Southern Highlands farm stay

Alan and Jeanette were wonderful hosts. This modern charming cosy 2 bed cottage was fabulous. We took our dog so the fully fenced back yard for nighttime pee stops, as well as the securely fenced 10 acre property, gave us total peace of mind. Our dog and the hosts’ dog Timmy entertained themselves and we enjoyed the wood burning stove and close proximity to Bowral. Great stay.

A lovely getaway in a quiet location, but close to all you need

Alan and Jeanette were wonderful hosts during our stay at their cottage. We really enjoyed having everything we needed and being in the quiet grounds of the farm but also being close to everything. The kids loved the horses and baby goats and we really appreciated Alan showing us around his farm. Definitely recommend!
